I just watched today's episode and realized that the CVs made a blunder in the logic for Arjun's character in the last scene.
Maya openly tells Saanjh and Arjun that she gave the job to Saanjh so that Arjun and Sannjh could spend more time together and they don't miss each other. This is clearly a personal reason and in no way is it a professional one. Maya never claimed to have given the job to Sannjh because she is qualified for the job, she was very clear that is was for Saanjh ans Arjun's happiness.
Then WHY in the world would Arjun argue with Saanjh and say that Maya did it for professional reasons and that she keeps her personal life separate? 🤔 Him thinking that previously for his own promotion makes sense as Maya never confessed to doing it for personal reasons but here she HERSELF said its for a personal reason.
That scene made Arjun's character look so dumb that in spite of Maya stating the obvious he still apparently thinks it's a professional decision. That whole argument and scene looked forced in order to show the conflict between Saanjh and Arjun and to show that Arjun is blind to Maya's games while Saanjh can see through it. If they wanted to show that they should have shown Maya saying that her decision was a professional one. Here the 2 scenes contradicted each other and just made Arjun's already weak character look even more stupid.
I think its high time CVs start working on improving and developing Arjun's character, so that we can relate to and understand why he does what he does, because right now his character is the least interesting and least relatable from among the lot. Heck even Ashwin who is supposed to be evil is more relatable than Arjun who is the main lead.
