Love is You : A one shot on Arjun- Maya( ArYa)

Hi everyone.
After watching Monday episode of Maya seeing Saanjh confessing her love and Arjun hugging her, I came up with a One shot on, maya reaction to the scene and her making Arjun ready to marry her. This oneshot is quite different from what happened in the show.. It just my imagination on Maya expressing her love for Arjun in her insecurity..
I am not so good in writing so please bear with me.. Its my first time writing.



Maya sees Arjun deep in thought. He has been silent since he returned after meeting Saanjh. Maya remembers Arjun hugging Saanjh in flashback and feels anger running through her veins. She questions god about her fault. Is this about her family bad luck on love?? Her mother gave her heart to her father, loved him crazily. And in return she got only betrayal. Was She going to suffer the same fate? Does being unlucky in love, runs in her genes?? Maya remembers her father cheating on her mom with another woman. Her mother happiness was short lived. Seeing her love with another woman drove her mother to madness.
Maya is feeling highly insecure now. She keeps on getting flashes of Arjun being in Ashwin place and Saanjh as the other woman. She is trying to calm her heart, explaining herself differences between Arjun and her father Ashwin. He wont cheat on her. He is only hers. But what if one day Arjun decides he wants to be with Saanjh.
"No" , Maya screams in her mind . She controls her own fate. And She wont let Arjun go away. Not for his best friend, not for anyone. He is hers. There will be no Jhanvi Mehrotra again. She will not allow her only reason to be happy, her only support, her only strength, her only hope to rise from darkness towards light, to be taken away. She will stand like wall and will not let any storm shake her paradise, her love nest.
With this determination, she approaches Arjun, and asks him reason for being so silent.
Arjun comes out of his dazed state. Seeing Maya, makes him feel guilty. To lessen his guilt he tells her about Saanjh confession..
Arjun: " I hurt my best friend Maya, I made her cry. How can I be so careless not to notice her feelings. I am feeling guilty to make her cry, but I cant let her go. She is part of my life, She is my dusky, please help me Maya. Please suggest me what to do now"
Maya:" Marry me, Arjun"
Arjun looks at Maya shocked. He is speechless
Maya then explains him" Arjun, if you marry me then, finally, Saanjh will leave her false hopes and then can move on . If she knows you cannot be hers anymore, she will find strength to move on. Or else she will keep living in a false hope and hurt herself more"
Arjun gives it a thought but still has doubt. Maya gets restless and thinks Arjun will reject her. Her insecurity surfaces again. Everyone has rejected her in life. Her own father and mother gave her no priority. She cant let Arjun also reject her. She breaks down crying thinking of her empty life without Arjun.
In her hysterical state she starts babbling her heart out to Arjun. She begs him not to abandon her for Saanjh." I cant love anyone again Arjun, I cant ever move on if you go away, for me everything is YOU. My life is YOU, the day you protected me from Ashwin, I got new strength, I saw for the first time that anyone can stand up for me; when you brought me ice cream at midnight to help me sleep, I for the first time felt anyone can care for me; when you took me to your secret thinking spot, I felt peace for the first time; when you returned my gifts, I for the first time felt that anyone can still like to be with me, for me, and not for my money. For me PEACE is YOU, CARE is YOU, HAPPINESS is YOU, LIFE is YOU, because Arjun for me LOVE IS YOU"
Arjun is standing stunned. He had never realised depth of Maya's love for him. He is overwhelmed. He realises that his silence is making Maya doubt about his love. He hugs Maya and consoles her " Maya, please don't cry, please. I can never leave you. I love you a lot. I was not thinking about leaving you for dusky. I was just being worried for hurting her. I have already chosen you Maya. Only you belong to my heart. Dusky is important , but you are equally important to me. I love you Maya. "
Maya relaxes hearing his words. She sighs happily and says " You belong to me Arjun. I belong to you. We belong to each other"

👏👏👏 Thanks for the OS, I've been wanting to read an ArYa story for a while now. While Maya is comparitively open to Arjun and he's seen her at her worst moments, I don't think she would be willing to express her vulnerability to him in the show, which is why this is a perfect OS. I loved it a lot and you write very well!! I hope to read something of yours sometime soon again, until then! 😃

The way Maya was scared to loose Arjun
We haven't seen her crying cuz of Saanjh in the show yet, but you have showed that scene! She is scared that cuz of Saanjh Arjun will move away from her. I loved how Maya compared herself to jhanvi! She thought she was also going to get betrayal in love! She thought she might lose Arjun, just like her mother lose her love. But the difference between Maya and jhanvi is that Maya doesn't trust anyone that easily. Not even Arjun, she uses her own brain to make sure that she doesn't loose him. She is intelligent unlike jhanvi, and I'm glad for that. IF jhanvi had been strong headed like Maya then Maya would've never had to face all the torture. I'm glad Maya is not like her mother! You have written everything so beautifully! Love love love it!
And how Maya told Arjun all the reasons why she loved him! It's so beautifully written! Especially when she says I loved you when u returned the clothes to me, cuz u didn't love me for my money. I was like awww
I want you to write more Arjun Maya scenes!
Maybe some after marriage scene ;)

Yes, now i am thinking about highly romantic Arya scenes. Will surely try some after marriage scenes. Dont know about the show, but we can surely make them marry in our imaginations 😊 😃

Arrey don't worry they will also marry in the show ;)
Story will change after marriage and I think that marriage will be a major turning point :D

Today the way Ashwin said that he wont let this marriage happen.. Isilye i am worried yaar. Dont know shadi will happen lr not. In tv world never shadi happens peacefully..
