EXCLUSIVE: While fans of Ishqbaaz are rejoicing as the channel plans a rumoured spin off on the popular show, here is what Nakuul has to say!

If this is indeed true, then it is nothing short of epic for fans of Ishqbaaz . The show enjoys a huge fan following online but the it is the recent TRPs that have heartened a lot of people, especially the channel heads and producers. It is ranking consistently in the top 15 shows since past few weeks. Keeping all this mind, and one more important fact, it seems Star Plus has decided to come up with a spin-off' on Ishqbaaz. And this one will focus on the love stories of Om
(Kunal Jaisingh) and Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo). One of the classic examples of a spin-off is F.R.I.E.N.D.S and Joey. The original show was a TRP-topper and the character of Joey was so much loved that a new show begun on his life. It should be noted that fans of Leenesh and Kunal are complaining that there is not much scope to explore the lives of OmRu in the ShiVika track.
It is clearly difficult to pack in the love stories of the three brothers with the daily plotting and scheming that make a daily soap. So far, it is only the romance of ShiVika i.e. Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) and Anika (Surbhi Chandna) that is getting all the focus. The spin-off will give equal footage to Soumya (Nehalaxmi Iyer) and Omkara's love interest (Shrenu Parikh) as well. Fans need not worry as Shivaay and Anika will also feature on the show. So, we will see Ishqbaaz on air from 10pm to 11pm. It will take the slot of P.O.W - Bandi Yuddh Ke that will wrap up soon.
When BollywoodLife got in touch with Nakuul Mehta, the actor said, "Honestly, I have not heard about this from the producers. What I know is from outsiders. I cannot comment on it right now as I am also clueless about this new development." The producer of the show Gul Khan recent wrote on an Insta post that people have no idea of what is coming in the life of Omkara. Was she hinting at this spin off?

why are fans voting for no. this is the perfect solution. the spin off means everyone gets what they want. shivika gets their own show and omru as well. i dnt mind priyanka also being part of the spin off too. the cvs cnt put what fans want to see in half an hr.

if this news is true. I will love it. yes I want spin off.

I would prefer an hour long show(40mins) with proper storylne for all characters.!😊

When the news of shrenu as omkara's lead came i was wondering that how will gul do justice with their story because their story is like a new start

I would prefer that they make ishqbaaz a one hour show rather than show the omkara and rudra story in a half an hour spin off. I would prefer that the show become an hour long so as to incorporate their love stories into the main story

I love the idea, but I have no expectations since the writers aren't going anywhere. I'm not expecting quality content, but it would be nice to see more Omru centered tracks.

If the spin off news is true,then all the problems will get solve automatically those who wanted to see OmRu's life story.
Now OmRu's story will take frontseat as well.
