Mechanical engg ia altogether a different branch..
Fixing equipments and all is not an engineer's job.. and we have ITI people for that.. anyways since u ppl wanna know..anything related to appliances comes under electrical and electronics .
Mechanicql is all about physics drawings .. designing of equipmwnt.
Study of their function... not exactly fixing of them
Civil engg is drawings of constructions and designing them with the help of architects..(previoualy even architecture came as a part of civil..)

Its a colorstv show hence we shouldnt expect any logic..
Story is moving smoothly now..lets hope it continues d same way
