There might be more to him than meets the eye (maybe how he used to be to his brother in their childhood is an indication for the same), I wouldn't mind that, tbh, it'd add more layers to his character. Oh, the scenes you mentioned annoyed me, too 😆 I mean, I was annoyed by her actions yet, somewhat glad she's not flawless 🤣 Though, am giving her time - I see the potential, especially once she starts to step out of Meghna's shadow. I think the greatest fear of viewers of content-driven shows is a flawless FL! :P

Hope to see her develop as a character with many more shades. I want to see an angry and fiery Naina, who goes against her Di.

*I have watched Saahil before but not Samridh, Sangeita or Ankita. I love Sangeita as Meghna, she is different from typical mahaan characters on TV. Glad she is breaking the mould.

*Coming to Naina. I know she is shown as someone super sweet and no depth yet. But, I for some reason, have this niggling feeling that like Kunal, she is more than what meets the eye. I feel Kunal and Naina are the underdogs here and I'm looking forward to their character developments.

*Karan, he just makes it impossible to look away when he is on screen. Samridh is amazing. He is so quiet all the time. He has attitude when it comes to Kunal and Naina.

There is something about NaiRan that they rub each other the wrong way. I love that. That tells me that they both will be able to bring the other out from under their respective siblings' shadow.

At the core, isn't that the issue? Meghna over shadows Naina and Kunal overshadows Karan. Only difference is that Naina doesn't care and she loves her Di and is confident in herself. She doesn't feel less when compared to her Di. (that trust me is no easy feat for a person, I personally dislike being compared to anyone). So, Naina's character has strength, just needs to shine. While Karan doesn't like the comparison. His skin photo-sensitivity did a number on his ego and self-respect. His character is strong, he just needs a helping hand, someone who understands him and gives him unconditional love and stands up for him. That, will be Naina.

SGC, made the reference to Naina turning into his human umbrella. The Chauhaan's are a very dysfunctional family, he obviously hasn't received the support he craves as everyone is busy with their own stuff.

Great points! I love the parallels you drew. Being someone who had a history of severe allergic reactions, I connect a lot to Karan. Although it was never as severe as Karan's, I would love to see how Naina responds to it. I think if they show a bad reaction, I am just going to show up at Rajshri office and thrash them. Naina has potential, so does Kunal. I feel that they are very similar to their siblings yet the complete opposites. They are made of the same thing, but since the situations they had been are so different, they moulded to be so different. It would be great if they show us the childhood of Karan and Kunal and their moments with their family. The aura of mystery is enticing.

Yes, I'm hoping for some flashbacks too. The dislike and anger Karan has, stems from in his childhood. It doesn't appear overnight. I think after the weddings, the story would take a turn and show us the issues in depth.

The difference is Shardha showed her love to both her daughters and NK was openly partial to Kunal. That is why Naina is confident and Karan is not. Children are unique and all deserve to be loved most of all by their parents.

Hi dearie...I missed you a lot... I hope you didn't forget me...I was away as my project was very demanding...And recently caught up with the show after I came to know that Samrid is one of the leads...Just entered the forum and I was kinda hoping that I find you here...and I found you.

As for the show its really out of the box...glad that shows are moving on from saas-bahu dramas (I'm expecting a sasur-bahu drama here) anyway I really love Karan and Next I like Meghna the most coz her beliefs and ideologies are strong and she sounds like me most of the times...I'm really looking forward to spend more time with all of you guys in this forum
