I think CV brought Vickey and Elena relationship and marriage for using it in some other track. May be they wanted to show goodness of Sona over Elena as bahu in the eyes of Ishwari. But during that phase due to Supriyaji's resistance they changed that insecurity wala track.
Now Elena is of no use for any other track, what type of role she is playing in Dixit house and vickey's life could have been played by any other outsider girl. But ab CV's phas gaye hai, Elena ke sath kare to kya kare. They can not show elena is aware of sona kid then she will tell it to Dev then no story. Therefore dumb banake rakha hai Elena ko. Being Sona's sister she can not be turn full negative also troubling Sona n family.😆
