Amidst a storm of wild leaves
and stubborn trees,
he called for me

She could not believe it: he with his heavy breaths,a man barely able to breathe, let alone call out to her, had yelled her name with a strength only superhuman will could support.
If one were to ask what she had felt as she saw him separated from her with the biggest divider after death (Life, and Green one at that), she would have laughed out loud at one time.
Those times were long past now, leaving in their wake only pain and gut-wrenching worries.
She would not be able to describe the erratic beat of her heart as she saw him clutch his, even as he pushed her away. All she could say was she stopped breathing to ensure he could.
Only, he did not want her breaths. He did not seek her heart.
As he uttered words that cut through her, she reached out to him.
Only, what was the point?
He pushed her with every ounce of strength he had, only to catch her before she fell. and yet, the threat of pain did not hurt her as much as his words.

While he, he with his heart in his hands, yearned to push away his pain for the gut-wrenching agony he felt as he pushed her away; her wounded eyes at once chastising him and making him wish for an easy death, anything but the guilt of hurting her. And so he tried. He tried to talk to her through his multiple pains. He tried to make her understand why she was the subject of all his anger and frustrations: there was no one else. He could not dare with anyone else; because she was different, because she could envelop all of that anger and pain, make it her own, and then ease it away like she was blowing soap bubbles in hues of rainbows.
How could he hide the fear in his eyes as her eyes threatened to overflow with painful tears, when only she could understand the agony he felt about his brother's absence?

And then she made the ultimate sacrifice:
she trusted him with her heart

And as he raised himself to reach her eyes, and touched her arm, his pain left him. For a while, he could breathe through it; breathe easier because she was here, holding on to him, believing in him. Until she left him, alone, her other sacrifice, one that would haunt him for years to come.

Even I don't know whether the CVs meant it one way or another, but I write what I feel from the scene...thoda toh hai aisa hi😳 except my language is more articulate than the expressions sometimes, and sometimes it's the opposite😳

Thank you for all the kind words, love!

Geet u certainly know how to play with the words & convey the emotions in such a poetic way!👏
I feel that last scene was an indication of their future, anika will leave him after exposing tia,he will have to struggle to win her back! She hasn't forgotten all that he has done to her in the name of marriage or rather forced marriage!Shivaay is taken aback at how she understands him more than his family members! The scene would have had better impact without the storm! The storm looked fake & I was loling at it😆

Geetu darling!!
You are love!!😳
I missed your posts but didn't know how much I missed them till I read this and cried...you somehow take even the most annoying scenes and turn it into poetry and make is fall in love with the characters all over again...

He tried to make her understand why she was the subject of all his anger and frustrations: there was no one else. He could not dare with anyone else; because she was different, because she could envelop all of that anger and pain, make it her own, and then ease it away like she was blowing soap bubbles in hues of rainbows.

Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe your writing!! The more realistic part of me was annoyed with Shivaay, even angry with the way he was treating Ani today, (albeit for a few seconds before he rushed to her aid again) but for now, the romantic in me is soothed and I will enjoy the love between these two for just some time longer while I read your post for the nth time with a smile on my face!!
