' Sab mujhe khudgarzi ke tarazoo Mai tol Rahe hai... Pyaar ke paimaana koi dekhta kyu nahi hai'

Doesn't it seem like the makers are answering the accusations thrown at Vividha? She's too selfish apparently for thinking about herself. Everyone's judging her from that perspective but they're forgetting that she's only loving someone. That's all she's doing. Why is it such a sin to love? She's been as honest as possible, what more can she do?

It's like she's being surrounded by old fashioned thoughts where as her own thoughts are voicing her own desires. Sujata and Suman are sure Vividha can't go ahead and break the marriage because Indian women don't do that. It's an institution to be respected.

The irony is that neither women were left fulfilled or happy and they expect Vividha do the same.

Women.

@Reemz,I was laughing when she said that *khudgarzi* dialogue because it was perfect! The makers answered Vividha's bashers with her dialogue. Is she the only one being selfish? In her selfishness she is ensuring two people are happy from the equation, but the equation the foolish people of JNDSD want to create means two people will forever be sad, how is that fair? History will not repeat itself! VITHARV will find each other because in each other they feel complete. If loving and fulfilling love is a sin and gives you the tag of selfishness, then so be it! As long as the heart is happy, to hell with the world!

I find it funny out of all ppl suzi and suman are talking abt marriage and it's restrictions.
I think these ppl are stretching vivs patience too hard. A time will come when she bursts. Throw that chain and say f*ck off .

It will happen. When it happens this time her man ll be besides her like always

loved this dialogue ... the makers did throw it at the bashers ...

Just like the bashers ... nobody in that household understands or even knows the meaning of love ... they are too busy stuck with society and it obligations ... they all lived a useless life and expected vividha to do the same ...

I want her to throw a few things at them ... like sweety says maybe the MS will be good if thrown on their face and just walk out with Atharv ...

She's honestly saying, look no-one will be happy this way so let me leave and this relationship should break. But of course, the women around her would never encourage such a thing. It's marriage! Women don't go breaking it even if your husband is abusive, even if he abandons you, even if he never loves you...you do not leave him!

Those 2 are women Vividha actually really respects but honestly neither of them are worth it. They couldn't have the courage to respect themselves and their so-called marital lives!

It's so sad and pathetic.

Here my mum is like if that were my son, I wouldn't let him stay in a loveless marriage. But we have to see Suman beg and Sujata act like she can stop vividha from staying with Atharv's memories.

I would love it if she showed two fingers up at them all! No-one, nobody at all has given her emotions any sort of understanding. Like FFS look at your own lives! What have you got out succumbing to societal rules?!

I am telling you Reemz ... Women like Suman and Uma are found everywhere ... And these are the ones who become mother in laws at some point and suck out the life out of their sons wives ... And some women themselves think being sacrificial is like being Great because God has given women patience and strength ... Utter crap ... It is always the women who has to adjust ... What was wierd in this case is that when vividha is literally screaming on top of her voice and expressing herself they turn deaf ears ... Terrible ...sujatha turned out to be a major disappointment though 😕

I love when female leads are called selfish.
To me it means they are human and connectable.
Not someone who is a perfect bahu and daughter.
Not someone who forgives everyone no matter what.
Not someone who moves and adjust with their situation.
It means that they have human feelings, they care about themseleves and their loved ones over the relationships that were forced on them.
It means that they weren't scared to follow their heart, regardless of whether their descion is right or wrong.
So if anyone calls Vivi selfish it isn't because she is bad it is because she is different and some people can't tolerate change.

That was without a doubt one of my favourite dialogues from the show ever.

It really encompasses what this show represents and where it will end up. A normal Star Plus heroine would not dream of acknowledging her feelings for her lover after her marriage, never mind declaring herself his widow and agreeing to a divorce!
I have always thought that all those that try to block ViTharv's feelings for each other, first Kailash and now SuSu, have been the conventional viewpoint of society whereas they, as lovers, represent being our true self. The cliche of being yourself in a world that always tries to make you like everybody else is so true, and ViTharv live it!

The irony of two women whose own marriages were responsible for such misery expecting Vividha to do the same, doesn't escape me. They are so blinded by society's expectations that they don't even know who are they are.

Little do they know, Vividha knows exactly who she is and what she wants.

Great post.
