after reading innumerate most defending and focusing on Dev intent and his reason to hurl abuse at Sona I am compelled to make this post. I work in a busy hospital in semi rural setting and manage many Sona presenting with suicide,unwanted pregnancy, mental breakdown all myriad presentation. It's always the girls never have I seen a boy presenting after breakup. All these girls looking for fairy tale romance fall for guy like Dev romancing in bedroom and scared to acknowledge their respective GF existence in public.
I want to ask character like Dev if u r so scared even to respect,acknowledge ur partner in front of ur family members y get the girl in picture. After all said and done these girls r left hopeless presenting to hospital still defending the very guy. Do these Dev even comprehend the long term damage they cause.
Some may argue Dev is not like that plz tell me how. In 6 months of their affair marriage combined he dumped her in a heartbeat twice,never defended her, called her names( for her betterment, to help her move off course) insulted her family etc. does he even qualify to b called a decent guy forget about being Mahaan. See the repercussion in post leap , he gets to lead a carefree life whereas Sona gets to b a single mother still pinning for him. That is all true.
Guys like rithwick might not utter romantic lines but will make great partner may be average looking so we girls give them miss in our quest for Tall and handsome man. Guys like rithwick would always nurture u respect u understand u and stick by u . After all marriage is all about companionship, mutual respect and friendship.
There is nothing great in being single mother, before making a judgment go talk to any single mom. So girls coming from a doctor working in Emergency department first understand ur value before looking for love and never fall for guy who dosenot value u. Sona was able to build herself who knows how u will evolve.
