Note- Before reading this update, please read the prologue again, I would like to say again, this story will have certain bold things which might not be digestible for everyone, also if you do not like everything, please do give it in your reviews so that I could justify it. I would love to see all your criticisms and praises alike for this story , so here is the first twist in the tale with the entry of Yash.
Part 7
A Paradise Lost
Geet woke up to find Maan missing, she looked around and then after getting freshen up she went to the kitchen only to find him cooking for her. She hugged him from back and said, "Good Morning, why didn't you wake me up". Maan thought about the pasta' she cooked, and turned to her pressing a kiss on her forehead, "Umm...Geet, nothing, I thought I should cook you some tasty food for once, you work so hard too". Geet scanned his face and understood the hidden meaning and pouted, "You didn't like my cooking right. Well I'm trying and remember I will cook you the best food in no time, then you will never think of making excuses once". Maan hugged her from back, "So you are angry". She nodded.
"Hmm...so you won't even take a bite of these cheese parathas I made for you. Guess then I will give them to my secretary, she did used to give me something to eat so I guess, I will return the favor", Saying this he turned but was pulled instantly by Geet.
"Dare you give any other woman anything, nor gifts nor food, you belong only to me remember this", She glared. "Then you will have them", He asked. "Yup", She said having them. "I can't give them to my secretary anyways the poor old lady is in her fifties and a diabetic", He chuckled. "You tricked me", She said. "Nope, dear wifey, it was you who took it otherwise. You are the only girl in my life", He kissed her cheek. "And you are mine", She said. Maan got a call and he took it, and talked happily and then gave it to Geet. Geet put the receiver andshe heard a squeal from the other side, "Hi bhabhi, I'm Annie, I don't know if bhai told you about me or not". "Hi Annie, yes your bhai told me about you, how are you doing", Geet smiled. "Bhabhi, I want to meet you in person, can we come there", Annie squealed. "Sure Annie, you can come to your house anytime", Geet said happy to hear the voice of the young girl. "Okay, bhabhi we will be meeting you in a month or so, my husband will be back then", She informed disconnecting the call. "She was wanting to talk to you, from long", Maan said. "I'm happy Maan, we will live as a big happy family once again", She smiled. "Not now Geet that is why I haven't announced our marriage, but then how did she...Forget that, Geet when you go out today, don't wear your marriage symbols", Maan said not knowing what a blunder he was doing. "But Maan...it is considered ominous ...", She tried but Maan stopped her, "Geet there is danger lurking around, that is why I have kept Annie away from here. I can't take any risks". Geet nodded and then Maan left for office not before getting a kiss from his dear wife, he had to find out how did Alisha knew he is married when he did not announce it.
Geet took her purse to go out ."Yes Ma'am shes out ,"a man told a lady who laughed on the other side . "Now what should we do ". "I will do the needful now ", said the lady . She dialed a number , "Hello ", answered a voice , looking lustfully at the portrait of the man she desired the most ,Maan . "You mean they have reconciled what were you doing ...hmm ...then I guess we have to take his happiness ...abduct her and sell her somewhere so he can never find her . I have links in human trafficking, she will make a good commodity ", she laughed maniacally . "No one can have you Maan , you are mine, you can not escape me now", She traced the portrait lustfully and looked back at the young boy tied on her bed, screaming for help but who will help him in this wilderness, she had a cunning look on her as she approached him and then ...the only thing heard was the boy's helpless screams.
Geet was shopping happily , after a long time she was out of the house , so she decided to utilize this time to the fullest . She bought a few dresses for herself and Maan and other essentials too . She was exiting the mall when she got a call from Maan , "Hello ,Geet how is your outing going ". "Its great next time I hope you join me too , I am almost done , I will be heading home ", She told."Okay then I will pick you up at 7 we will go out to our favorite restaurant ", Maan informed her . "Sure I will be ready , bye". She disconnected the call . She was going to sit when she saw a few men trying to snatch the chain of a girl , Geet went there hearing the girl's pleads and attempts to free herself not knowing shes going into a trap . "Hey what are you doing there get away from her or I m calling the cops ", she threatened . The men left and the girl got up and thanked her ,"Thank you for saving me , I'm Alisha"."Hi I'm Geet", Geet smiled. "Could you please help me , I am unable to walk ,my car is parked there ",Geet being innocent could not see through her pretense . "Sure , here take my hand ". As soon as she was going to enter her car , Geet felt a strange pain in her head turning back she saw the same men and Alisha smirking with them . "There now put her in the car ", she ordered .Alisha took out a syringe which contained a drug she was asked to inject her so that her memories were hazy and causing a temporary amnesiac sort of state. Alisha injected her with a drug to make her unconscious. "Now until she realizes and regains her memory it will be too late ", she smirked .
She dialed the number ,"Your job is done now when will I get my money ". "You are not getting a single penny until you get the job done fully .. I want Geet out of Maan's life or else you know what I can do ,"the voice threatened .Alisha knew it was useless to argue but she had enough of this lady and her bossy nature so she thought of using this opportunity in her own favor . She looked down on Geet and thought about something but she knew if he gets to know the reality he won't help her that stupid righteous half brother of hers but he was her only hope to get even with Maan and this lady.She could always use his innocence for her own favor. She saw that goon she hired eying lustfully at Geet and was about to touch her when she shot him dead , and drove away to the airport . "I have far greater plans for you than this, my dear Geet. Maan say goodbye to your beloved wife. Hmm interesting this lady is into human trafficking , I think that will help to transport her to ... ", She smirked. She took Geet to where that lady told her goons of the trafficking gang will meet and she took the route they told her. As soon as she reached the destination instead of taking her to the trafficking group, she took her to the place where she planned.
Maan called Geet again but her phone was switched off . He got worried now , he called his bodyguards , "Where is Geet ", he asked in a cold tone. The bodyguards knew they are in trouble , "Actually ,Sir we can not find Ma'am anywhere ", they informed him nervously . "What do you mean by that, if anything happens to my wife I will kill you all ", he threatened . He rushed out of the office to search for her , but he could not find her anywhere . Now he was scared , he was helpless , he called her brother ,"Is Geet with you , please say she is "."What do you mean by that , what have you done to my sister , " Gaurav asked alarmed .

"I have not done anything we reconciled yesterday, I knowyou are not at fault and Geet came here for shopping but now shes not here please help me find her I will die without her please ", Gaurav could sense helplessness emitting from his voice . He reached that place and both tried to find her . Gaurav received a call ,"Hello ". "Lets cut out the formalities , you can't find your sister ever now forget about her you and Maan will suffer now "."Who is it ,"Gaurav asked. Maan took the phone ,"You lay a finger on her and I will make sure to find and kill you ". "Oh still the damned attitude I will have you beg Maan , your Geet is gone now far away find her if you could and yeah don't lodge any complaints your Geet will be gone " , threatened the caller . "Alisha , I know its her , I will kill her ," Maan was enraged now . He dialed a few numbers and got his best sources to get any info on Geet but nothing .
Maan called his cousin, "Hello Rohan". Rohan smiled happy hearing from his brother after long, "Hi bhai, how have you been".
"Rohan...please I need your help", Maan whimpered scared for his love. "Bhai what happened, tell me everything", Rohan asked not happy to hear the broken voice of his brother. He knew about what his brother faced and tried many times like Sara to warn him but he never listened, but still he loved and respected his brother a lot. His father tried to take Maan with him but he was murdered too, so Maan took the role of his father and did everything for his education and now he was cop. Maan narrated everything and Rohan was enraged, "Don't worry bhai, nothing will happen to bhabhi, I promise, I will do everything in my power to search for her and bring her back to you"."Thank you Rohan", Maan ended the call and looked at Gaurav who was as tensed as he was but still not sure if Maan was telling the truth or not, that his sister and Maan reconciled he still held him responsible for the abduction of his little sister but more than him he knew he has failed as a brother so he knew he has to calm down for now. Rohan dialed a number, "I want all the details of a model named Alisha Singhania, find her as soon as possible"."I'm sure who is behind all this, but I need more proof", He thought. He called Sara, "Sara, Geet bhabhi has been abducted, I think she is behind it, what do you think. "Rohan, I'm very close to getting all the proofs against her. This time Maan won't be misled", Sara said in a dangerous tone. She disconnected the call, "You have done a big mistake this time by taking Geet from him, but now ...you will pay very dearly for hurting him".
Maan looked at his empty house after ending the call, "Please come back Geet, you promised you will take care of me. Please come back, I can't live without you", He broke down. Gaurav looked at him and tried to support him though now he was scared for his baby sister too, but he knew his sister loved this man and he needs to support him, "Please Maan. Be strong we are trying our best sources, we will surely find her". "Why Gaurav, why is it that I'm always denied of happiness. We had just started afresh, we were so happy then why again...I will not leave those people who are behind this, I will kill them", He said enraged. "Let's be hopeful Maan. Geet will be back to us", Gaurav said.
Geet woke up in a different surrounding . Her head was spinning and she was unable to recall anything . "Are you alright?", she heard a deep male voice , looking up she found a young man standing there . She found him similar to the man shes been dreaming about but only for his eyes they were black instead of the chocolate brown ones she saw in her dreams . "Where am I ?, how did I get here ?", she questioned .
The young man smiled at her a kind and gentle smile , "I found you on my doorstep a few days back with my sister , she said you were unconscious when she found you , may I know your name ", he asked . "I am ...ahh ...my head hurts , Geet I think ," she stated unsure . "Hello Geet , I am Yash you are at my house in Paris", he told her . "Lets take you to a doctor to see what happened to you ?, we will find about you later ". Geet looked up at the young man probably her age and thought she knew him but only his eyes were different , they were not the intense ones but very gentle . Yash thought about the events he never trusted his sister , and always felt disgusted with the way she looked at him the reason he moved out with the excuse of his studies but the truth was it was to save himself from her . She landed a few days back with this girl here and don't know why but he was attracted towards this girl without knowing he fell for her but he wanted to help her as well so took her in . He recalled that day.
Flashback, 3 days back
A young man of 20, was doing his morning chores when the continuous ringing of his doorbell caught his attention. He has been living alone since long since he left his home after his parents died. He tried to concentrate on what he was doing but the continuous ringing irked him, he opened the door only to find the person he least wanted to see. "Di, what are you doing here".
Yash asked his sister Alisha. Alisha was scanning him making him uncomfortable. It was because of her that he had to leave his house, her eyes looked at him in a very disgusting way, his father married her mom, when he was 10, he did get the love of a mother from her mother but that of sister was something he never got from her, her eyes were still looking at him lustfully, when he repeated his question, "Di , I asked you something". "Won't you ask me to come in, its tiring carrying her", Alisha said. After she pointed out then only he saw there was a person on his doorstep too with his sister, a girl, "Di what happened and who is she", He said stepping out to give her a way. Alisha tried to drag Geet but Yash carried her. He gave her some juice and asked again, "Di, what is going on, who is this girl". Alisha knew she could not tell her brother the truth, "Hmm, he has grown up well and quiet handsome too, exactly like Maan only their eyes are different..".
She smirked thinking of her plan and then looked up to Yash feigning a terrified look she said,"Yash this girl is from India, someone tried to sell her in human trafficking and tried to molest her but I saved her, can you please keep her here, until I come back". "Di but, I don't know anything about this...don't you think we should try to find her relatives, they might be worried", Yash reasoned. "Nooo, I...I mean no no we couldn't do that , please just for few days", Alisha pleaded. Yash looked at the young woman his sister bought, don't know why but he found something fishy in his sister's alibi, so he nodded. "Okay di, but I hope you are not doing anything wrong", He said. "You never trusted your sister, for once just ..", She started sobbing her crocodile tears which melted his soft heart. "Di , please don't cry, I will try to do what I can", He agreed not knowing that his decision is going to make his life take the 360 degree turn. Alisha smirked inwardly, "What an emotional fool you are little brother, but I need you to make this plan work". "Di do you need anything to eat", He asked. "No, I will be leaving then", Alisha stood up. Yash nodded, "I will look after her". "I know you will ,Yash", She thought. He watched her retreating figure and looked back at the girl. "For some reason, I don't trust you di, you are hiding something but this girl will be better here than with you", He thought finding his sister's acts suspicious. "Who is this girl", He looked at her and found her attire to be really different from whatever situation his sister told him of. "I will have to wait to let her regain her consciousness", He said and lifting her up he put her his room waiting for her to be conscious.
Present
He came out of his thoughts only to see her staring at him curiously . He smiled at her and took her to the doctor . "Here my sister left these dresses for you, if you need anything else, you can tell me", He said. Geet nodded, "Thank you". They left for the doctor unknown what a turn their lives will take after all this.
