Hi All,
I have read lot of articles and discussions in this forum and my apologies in advance as my writing is not as good as some of the others...
I am bit disappointed and frustrated with our double standard society and same is reflected in our daily soaps aswell.
where wives are so bound by their duties and husbands have only one duty and that is to hurt their wives and later on say sorry and wives have no choice but to accept it for various reasons...
In today's episode the way Jahanvi was treated was absolutely horrendous and heart breaking... she does not deserve this ...atlist this time sorry and I was blind and I am moron should not be enough for Tej...it is so common even in so called educated and high society family aswell.
similarly Shivay has done and behaved so wrongly with Anika and all in return he has to say and do is "never stop talking to me" ...seriously ...yes he feels guilt but not because he did wrong to a girl ...but because he thinks he doubted her dignity and did wrong to her...so if she would have slept with some one for money with her own willingness then what he did was right ...but her innocence was proved and that makes him feel less guilty and more sorry ...so all rights reserved by SSO...
so to be worthy of respect and love still in our country wives have to prove their loyalty after 30 years of marriage or have to prove her infidelity doubts... but for husband none of these applies and one sorry just fixes all...
I know its same old boring comment but these type of examples gives wrong ideas and thoughts to young generation...where girls think its ok to be tortured and man will become romantic after forcing himself or his decision and rest of the life will be happy and rosy ...and boys think it is ok to question woman's dignity and pride because he has money and power and ofcourse he is man.
Don't get me wrong I m big fan of IB and really want to enjoy each and every Shivika scenes but girl who was forced to marry and denied to be accepted as a wife for million times by her husband to be so loving and caring is bit too over the board...yes i would accept for her to be caring and helpful but flirting is hard to digest for me...
