Ok. How makers had been thinking after the fertility truth came out.
Makers- The audience is bored with the post fertility track drama & TRP is low too. Now what to do? Eureka!!!!! Throw in honeymoon track by Ishwari.
After one episode, audience still upset with Sona's reaction on the fertility thing. Now what?? Throw in her confrontation, Devakshi fight & passionate romantic scene.
Still no affect on TRP, throw in Dev slapping Bijoy. Atleast some viewers will be attracted.
No affect still.
Now what to do.
Throw in leap of 7 years with Devakshi daughter & Dev turning into Casanova. Turn Sonakshi into successful. Make them rivals & show their daughter. Audience is gonna love it.
That's an age old tried formula. Leaps do attract viewership for the shows that go unnoticed with new characters & story. And Indian audience is habitual of that storyline. The reason why non-conventional shows like Dehleez, POW struggle to get audience & good TRPs while shows like Naagin, Brahmrakshas, SNS Ye Rishta & Simar are still going on.
Because leap paves the way to extend the show to a longer duration. Besides no matter how much audience appeals to the storyline they still watch it for Devakshi's chemistry, fights & scenes. So, leap will start the story from very beginning with some old scenes & misunderstandings to be continued. Because the leap news came all of a sudden out of nowhere on the Wednesday evening & it came as a bomb blast on all of us. Look at the amount of attention this show is getting all of a sudden. But one thing has to be said till last friday, It was all "Mission Dixit Baby" and within next 3 episodes its all "Mission 7 years leap".
I don't know if anyone here watched Pakistani show "Humsafar", they showed seperation in one episode & then was the 5-years leap by the third episode of Khirad being thrown out of the house. And post leap Khirad came back with the 5-year old daughter.
And for all saying Dev turning Casanova. I think that means that Dev will still be businessman handling business but a bit ruthless. He will be giving damn to the family. His serious image will change to casanovic image where he will be involved with many woman thus hurting his mother primarily for not letting him remain peacefully with Sona. Thats a rebel actually. I will do exactly what you never wanted me to do. And since he is good-looking, successful businessman, this thing will sell easily. You wanted me serious & obedient, I will do what I have been deprived off at the younger age, women. I still don't think he will don that jacket-bike thingy look. Casanovic nature is something I can imagine but the physical look. Oh My Gosh!!!! I can't envision him like that.
And glad Sona will don this corporate look. Because Erica has got this totally killer Jeans-top & Skirt-top body & personality & attitude. And I so wanna see her in that look, The classy look.
And most likely they will collide again on the business grounds, as rivals or competitors post the leap.
I myself have liked leaps personally many times, but this one doesn't seem to fit in my mind.
But RIP KRPKAB Season 1!!!!!
