Durdhara name appears in parishta Parvati which is a Jain text. It says she was pregnant when Chandra shared his poisoned food with her due to which she collapsed and chanakya had to cut her belly to save the heir. Chanakya used to give his poison to make him ammune of attacks. Due to this bindusara later exiled chanakya which broke his heart and led to chanakya death. Neither it says she was his first nor chief wife because the term agramahishi is not used for her.
