Mole and Til – Uff I hate this cold

Hi all, called Sheena up last night and found out she is pretty sick with the cold/flu. So I think DOTD update is gonna be delayed. Anyway this is to cheer you up Sheena. Plenty if chicken soup and lots of TLC from the sahib....

Mole irritated by the contant coughing of the Til: "Uff, can't you control that incessant coughing for a moment."

Til who was feeling pretty miserable, what with the sore nose, runny eyes, sore chest and aching all over was now having to put up with the Mole's grumbling: "It's ok when you don't feel good and we put up with your tantrums and now that I am feeling rotten...there is no sympathy." Blowing her nose loudly Til burst into another fit of coughing.

Mole covered her ears up to block out the noise. She tapped her fingers on top of her head, wondering when she could remove her hands from over her ears. After several minutes Til quietened down and Mole removed one hand and then the other off her ears. She took a deep breath may be she has fallen asleep...uhem that would be best, if Til could be put to sleep for few hours than may be they could all get some rest otherwise it was going to be a long day and an even longer night.

Mole thought of what she could do to make Til go to sleep for several hours. Well this was something she couldn't do alone, she was going to need the help of sahib or the memsahib...but memsahib herself was sick so that only left the sahib.

Spying a magazine on the table, Mole decided to flick through it to see if there was an ad for cough medicine...maybe if she can find an ad leave it open for the sahib to see, he may run out and get it for the memsahib. She preened at herself for thinking up the idea. The only ad she found was for Nyquil D. She read the ad description and decided this might do the trick and so left it open waiting for the sahib to come and check up on memsahib.

Sure enough sahib came half an hour later concerned at the non-stop coughing by the memsahib. Asking her if he should call the doctor and only to be told by her that it was just a cold and she will be fine the next day. Spotting the ad, he asked if maybe he should go to the CVS and pick a bottle of Nyquil, at least it may help her rest. Not bothering to wait for her reply, sahib left to pick up the medicine. Half an hour later and 30ml of the stuff, memsahib fell asleep. Mole jumped up and down gleefully...what a smart Mole she was to find a way to put the Til out of her misery for at least few hours and in return she...the mole could enjoy her hours of peace.

Kanta loved the banter between M & T as usual.....it's a nice one....I hope saahiba is very well taken care of as saahib and chhoota saahibs all are at home.
