Yes, for sure. it was intelligent planning and marketing for sure.. but i also think it was needed for the flow of the show.. they could not have put the slap-gate scene tomorrow.. it would have had only criticism and criticism.

it is clear that the audience, like in most cases, is never satisfied and probably does not even know what it wants.. I have seen some comments on twitter and even this forum that seem like an over-reaction.

i felt that the initial part of the episode was beautifully handled. people were expecting a lot more detailing but i am glad they did not get into it.. and left a lot to imagination. This is good story telling.

even the second half was handled pretty well. Again, it highlighted well the fact that Dev is impulsive and cares only about his mother and her feelings first (though he claims that he also feels for Sona). if he can shout at his FIL for no reason, i think he should have shouted at GKB first..it is clear that the slap was no accident.. it was blind anger, which Dev conveniently calls - an accident.

i am sure he will get into deep remorse.. the precap indicates that. it will be interesting to see how Sona treats Dev going forward.

Post the leak of slap track...a lot of ppl on social media criticised ...and I guess they would have thought they will loose on their TRP...so the best part was to give what the public has been asking for...a lil bit of intimacy...the first part of the romance was similar to the SR only thing is that ..the way it was translated was diff ( I thought that hidden lip lock was badly done...it could have been made a lot better) ...so not much of ppl would fall for it..especially after seeing the slap scene..😆I think the ONLY scene they added extra is the shirtless Dev for TRP and marketing gimmicks ...all the others was a part of this episode..

This is like forced shopping , at malls...with an add in the paper...buy for 1000 rupees and you will get some goddies worth some XY rupees free...😆...people rush to buy even the ones that they buy for 1000 might not be worth...

PS : I didnt like the car scene as well ...very poorly done...and poor graphics...it was like seeing old movies in which the actors sat in the car and they show as if the car is moving ...

Yes the cvs have very well played their cards...and made us to see the two exactly opposite situations during one episode!

Must say they've done a gr8 job in manipulatong viewers to watch the episode

But Anyway...i would have watched it whether the slap incidence took place today or not!.

Am eagerly waiting for sona's reaction in tomm episode!😉😉

Thank you dear...when something is done very professionally and if it succeeds then we need to appreciate it...it was amazing to see how the PH saved their TRP with just one shirtless shot 🤣..

More than Sona's reaction I want to see how Dev will react ...he is going to feel guilty like hell !!
