Hooked to the show :)

I am not an avid show-watcher, per se, and in any other scenario I probably wouldn't have given a second thought to this one - because, you know the prejudices, two sisters (again), most likely ending in one house post-marriage, one causing conflict etc... A friend of mine was interested in this drama and asked whether anyone was watching it, so I roamed the forum a little, saw some very interesting posts and started to watch (without having ever seen a single promo, lol).

I'll be upfront: I am totally smitten by Karan 😆 I have never seen Samridh in any other show before, and I admit I had been skeptical when I first saw him (though, I loved his BG score) - but really the guy's ticking off all the right boxes for me! A very intriguing character and I am loving Samridh's performance more and more 😳 His clash with Kunal (bro-angst, bro-mance, I am a hopeless case, lol), his interaction with his father, his aversion to touches and the sensitive skin - though, I think my favorite scene of his, till now, is the one where Naina fell into the pool and he wanted to reach out to her but couldn't, and when Naina snapped at him, the way he covered his hands, cradled them to his chest and hugged his umbrella... 💔

Kunal - I like his manipulative streak 😆 He knows how to get what he wants, and doesn't hesitate to use his means. Hope we get to see more of that. He is interesting, for sure, though I have yet to build a solid image of his in my mind - soon, am sure 😳

As for the girls, I am liking Meghna, as of now. She is head-strong, has sass and comes off as very human at this point in the storyline. Also, I was surprised when I found out that it'll be the older sister who will/might cause disruptions in the family because mostly, it is always the younger one. Naina, I must admit, I was and am still a little doubtful 😛 She came off as way too sweet and the usual type. Though, when she saw Karan the first time and made fun of him with her cousin and the coffee incident - although, I honestly didn't find the actions one bit amusing but I appreciate that they are showing her flawed, as well 😆 Hope she grows more as a character, she definitely has the potential!

Other characters/actors I am enjoying (for different reasons) are NK and Dadaji (he is sweet), Khayti too. I like the actress playing the girls mom but the character... remains to be seen, lol.

Karan, brotherly angst, family drama and the potential of the love angles - am hooked 😳 (And yes, I know that the show's about sisterhood, too, probably more than other things, but I always end up leaning more toward the MLs thand FLs, sue me 🤣) I will try to be more active in the forum although, I will be pretty busy till late mid-February, and I hope to join a healthy environment (already seen familiar faces around 😳)

Yes, I know and I can totally understand it! 😆 I think I have proven myself a gone case to my friends when I was gushing so much over Karan, lol 🤣 And yes, I believe Naina can evolve, as well, she just needs proper time! Once she starts stepping out of her Di's shadow and try to be her own person, she'll get more depth to her 😉

I hope they don't bend Meghna's character too much, later on. Of course, she will change, eventually, and mature but that doesn't mean losing your essence 😆

Huh, that's a tough question because I honestly have no idea 😕 I mean, Karan's condition doesn't really make him eligible for marriage, atm, does it? And NK seems like the kind of man who'd rather keep his son's condition hidden from the world than risk it coming to attention - by, for example, marrying him (out of fear that it might tarnish the family's repuation and nonsense like that). The rest of the family wouldn't really want to marry him off, as now, either, given his extreme aversion to touch (the guy even flinches away from his own mother's touch) and he seems highly anti-social.

As for Naina, she hasn't yet completed her studies, has she? So, I can't see her mother willingly marrying her off, already - and willingly letting go of both daughters at the same time.

Some circumstances will come up, definitely. Maybe NK sees some kind of profit from such an alliance and forces the marriage? Hm, apart from the fact that he wouldn't want to "flaunt" Karan's conditions, he isn't that fond of Meghna and her family, either, so why get both his sons married into the same family? But maybe he thinks that rather get him married to someone like Naina, middle-class family, already known to them, and Naina and her family will be more hesitant to make a drama out of how Karan is (e.g. cause a scandal) because they have another daughter/sister married into the same house. Maybe a little far-fetched 😆

Could also be something religiously motivated... something to do with Kunal's or Meghna's kundli that will have KaIna (I have also seen the couple name NaiRan floating around) married. Seems possible especially since Dadaji seems like he would believe in such things 🤔

Agreed, a marriage on Indian TV without twists and turns wouldn't be a marriage, lol. But given the way CVs have build up everything, it is really difficult to guess - all I am more or less certain about is that it will be a majboori marriage with both, Karan and Naina, unhappy.

I am wondering how they will do the wedding rituals, actually - applying sindoor, binding mangal sutra - if Karan's not willing to touch her 😆 Just throw them? 😛

That will cause some problems until Naina doesn't know what's up. She'll think he has some attitude problem or something, lol. One instance I can imagine where this might cause trouble is when he has to touch Sharda's feet for ashirwad. He tends to only touch the floor, never feet, and if he does that to Sharda, the girls will probably be offended and definitely misunderstand the situation 😆
