Hola, people 😳 I thought to make a lil introductory post before joining the forum 😆 I've already been a lil active in the CG, though. Most people on IF call me Ami or Noor, feel free to choose either!
I am not an avid show-watcher, per se, and in any other scenario I probably wouldn't have given a second thought to this one - because, you know the prejudices, two sisters (again), most likely ending in one house post-marriage, one causing conflict etc... A friend of mine was interested in this drama and asked whether anyone was watching it, so I roamed the forum a little, saw some very interesting posts and started to watch (without having ever seen a single promo, lol).
I'll be upfront: I am totally smitten by Karan 😆 I have never seen Samridh in any other show before, and I admit I had been skeptical when I first saw him (though, I loved his BG score) - but really the guy's ticking off all the right boxes for me! A very intriguing character and I am loving Samridh's performance more and more 😳 His clash with Kunal (bro-angst, bro-mance, I am a hopeless case, lol), his interaction with his father, his aversion to touches and the sensitive skin - though, I think my favorite scene of his, till now, is the one where Naina fell into the pool and he wanted to reach out to her but couldn't, and when Naina snapped at him, the way he covered his hands, cradled them to his chest and hugged his umbrella... 💔
Kunal - I like his manipulative streak 😆 He knows how to get what he wants, and doesn't hesitate to use his means. Hope we get to see more of that. He is interesting, for sure, though I have yet to build a solid image of his in my mind - soon, am sure 😳
As for the girls, I am liking Meghna, as of now. She is head-strong, has sass and comes off as very human at this point in the storyline. Also, I was surprised when I found out that it'll be the older sister who will/might cause disruptions in the family because mostly, it is always the younger one. Naina, I must admit, I was and am still a little doubtful 😛 She came off as way too sweet and the usual type. Though, when she saw Karan the first time and made fun of him with her cousin and the coffee incident - although, I honestly didn't find the actions one bit amusing but I appreciate that they are showing her flawed, as well 😆 Hope she grows more as a character, she definitely has the potential!
Other characters/actors I am enjoying (for different reasons) are NK and Dadaji (he is sweet), Khayti too. I like the actress playing the girls mom but the character... remains to be seen, lol.
Karan, brotherly angst, family drama and the potential of the love angles - am hooked 😳 (And yes, I know that the show's about sisterhood, too, probably more than other things, but I always end up leaning more toward the MLs thand FLs, sue me 🤣) I will try to be more active in the forum although, I will be pretty busy till late mid-February, and I hope to join a healthy environment (already seen familiar faces around 😳)
