My honest reveiw/opinion.

I started watching Naagin irregularly in season 1 due to my uni work. I really admire Mouni Roy and she was the reason I watched those irregular episodes. However, once the news was out that KVB will be the main lead in the second season, I was personally really very excited. I loved him since the Kasauti Zindagi Ki days but fell real hard for his acting in Saubhagayvati Bhav where he played a very dark and disturbing character and after that it was Aahil Raza Ebrahim that made me fall for him (KVB). I know that not all of you are impressed with his character Rocky in this show but I have a different opinion.

Rocky is a human. As we are. I don't think we would be clever or smart enough to figure out such a supernatural activity going on around us. Who can even imagine that the person who we love the most is a serpent or a supernatural creature? For Rocky, Shivangi is a normal human being who is distanced from him after the accident that took place at their wedding and she makes a comeback on the day when he is emotionally blackmailed into marrying the girl his mom has picked. It was very clear that he was quite firm about his marriage being a mere formality for him. After the sudden wedding, he was determined to win back his love but Shivangi does not reciprocate the feeling because of her misunderstanding.

Then comes the entry of the cutest looking character, Kinshuk/Rudra. He enters as a human and then begins the revenge drama. He too, for Rocky is a human and its obvious that if we see our partner with another person being so free and open, we would feel jealous and if this goes on for long, then a bit suspicious. Its obvious that if your partner is meeting the other guy, we would act impulsively even after you have asked to stay away from them. So, for me Rocky and his situation is justified. He is a human oblivious to such activity. He tried building a relationship with a fresh start and a lot romance. The snow fall, the little gestures he did to impress the love of this life. All he wanted/wants is to have the old Shivangi who he fell for, back. Although, I really want him to find out the truth. Its time.

As for the pairing, its obvious that I ship RoShiv. They are my OTP. Rudra is amazing but as a friend and we all kind of know what is going to happen with his character. If he falls for Shivangi, which he has, he will be Sesha 2.0. And I don't want that. Rudra is nice and kind. I hope that the CV's give Rudra a justified and logical way handling his emotions and also the awareness of what he is, how he is and why is he here.
