Totally confused

I am totally confused about Sharada. What does she want for her daughter? She wanted her daughters to study. Fair enough. She wanted them to be independent. Great. She wanted them to be employed. Okay. Then why is she seeking an alliance in a very rich family? Why not in a middle class family where they were of similar financial status and where her daughter's desire to work will be more favourably looked upon? It's not as if she knew that Meghna was attracted to Kunal and so hopped on a train and landed in front of her house.

It's because the middle class don't want their bahu working. Plus they had tried and that rishta got tossed. Than everyone was worried that no one will marry Meghna or Naina.
The marriage agency guy also refused as Meghna made more money than most guys.

very well said di! Couldn't agree on more! Sharda has tried to fix meghna's alliance in a family which equalises their status, but they insisted that meghna shouldn't be working after her marriage. So she broke the alliance with them, cos she in no way wanted her daughter's future to be crushed by those selfish people in any way. Then she even contacted the marriage beaurau but too got failed there cos they haven't got a boy who could match meghna's acadmics. So they suggested her to fix meghna's alliance with the chauhans which will be just perfect house for meghna and who will respect her capabilities. She even heard of sujaan's words before hopping in the train. While everyone around was taunting her as of who will marry meghna, she made her mind to get her married in the chauhan house, cos she believed in Meghna and sujaan's words.
I think she wasn't wrong anywhere if she desired to get her daughter married to a richer household, cos she believed that meghna would prove a good bahu to them.

And sharda even knew that her Meghna is worth in all matters to be chauhaan's ki badi bahu.

Everything was ok till she stayed there in front of the house for whole day and asked NK for i have bahu for you. That was kinda over the top. Only my opinion.
