i love Karan

firstly Samridh has just been fantastic in the show so far. he has brought the right amount of intrigue, heart and attitude to his character that just wants makes one want to watch him more. his characterisation is really beautiful. one knows from the start that he would not want to be anything like his father or his brother. but his attitude and his arrogance is a little like his dad and i was shocked when his sister said that he could sing coz kunal can also sing. its obvious the reason why there is contention btw him and his dad. the old man obviously sees his anti social ways and weirdness as beneath a chauhan. karan is so emotional he has so much of pain in him, anger and i am sure that he loved kunal alot and their link was most probably music. honestly i am gona be biased and say that kunal did something wrong.

but watching both boys makes me wonder who is the real chauhan heir. the perfect kunal or is it the imperfectly flawed karan. kunal comes across as the more arrogant and confident but i know he is no different fron karan, whereas karans flaws are shown to the world he hides his.their dad has in someway damaged both kids. meghna knows kunal as a singer if i remember correctly. he comes across as self assured and confident but kunal the only way he can get what is by manipulating a situation and i am sure he would never admit to wanting to be a singer in front of his dad. and this is not different from karan when his dad is around he is silent, he looks almost scared and ran's off. this is so different from the guy who is arrogant and matter of fact with others.

now coming to the phobias that karan suffers from it seems to be more than one -Haphephobia, The Fear of Touch. and i am not sure if he is a Heliophobia as well( fear of the sun). or whether his body has been burnt in anyway hence not wanting to show his skin to show. that moment when naina fell in the pool. i so wanted to cry coz just imagine someone's fear being so powerful that it prevents that from helping another when they want to. his inadequacies, naina's words of him being a freak and not normal where piecing his heart. just so sad and i really am looking forward to seeing what made him the way he is coz i have a feeling he was not born with these phobias and it was brought about by some traumatic event. or even if he was born with his phobias his dad made him worse.


then there is his pairing with Naina. i have to say the doll is absolutely perfect for him. such contrast in personalities. i loved when he was setting the date and saw the paintings he saw their beauty bt thinks everything should be clear and not distract from getting to know the other person. so clinical just like his dad but at the same time different coz he did not prevent naina from not doing what she wanted to do. but honestly i thank god that karan came and cured naina from her diabetes attitude. i was shocked that the little one had such a month on her and attitude just like her sister. for me since the entrance of karan the beauty of naina's character is coming out with him and even in her other scenes with her mom and sister as well. she is coming a lot more human and inflatable now. i so what more scenes of them together of her worrying him and then consoling him as well. and did anyone notice that when naina said he has no one in his life romantically an odd expression came on his friend. i met was in love with a gold digger and she will show up soon. i hope kunal did not steal her away from him.

Wow!!! Awesome post!! I too love Karan. This is the first time I'm watching Samridh and he's got me hooked.
I love how you were able to pick in the similarities between the Dad and the brothers.
As for his skin issue, according to his character profile on Colors TV, said he has sensitive skin for which he needs special moisturizers and covers up in the sun. I'm going with Photosensitivity.
I was amazed with Naina and her spunk and sass!! Karan brought everything out in her. She says whatever she feels like upfront to Karan. Let's see how she reacts when she finds out about his photosensitive skin.
😆 Yep, the sweet doll isn't so sweet after all. She has just the right amount of attitude and I love it.

Well for me, karan is the most interesting character in the show. He isn't a normal guy but has got a lot of shades as a character. And of samridh as karan, he is just bang on! Can't express his brilliance in words! And as you described perfectly, he is just best as karan.
Good to see KaIna's growing fondness among many. And ya, naina's character witnessed a change when she is around karan. She seemed more confident, out-spoken and cute too!
I am eagerly waiting for more of KaIna in the show. Hope the makers excute things well and don't let any of the fan groups disappointed here, whether its for MeghNal or KaIna.
Honestly, I would also like to discover karan's future interaction with his family, cos currently they were meagre except with his dadu, mom and sis. I wanna see more of the brothers, and off-course his tashn with NK! I think he is the right person who can show the reality mirror more perfectly to NK than anyone else. Might be naina emerge as his strength after their marriage and allow him to pursue his carrier in music as well as make him stand against his dad for his wrong doings. Their relationship would be more on understanding and supporting each other and ultimately becoming each other's strength in future which will surely be good to see in the show!

Karan is a strong character, strong enough to accommodate the desires of those whom he loves - his mom and dadu. And of course Samridh plays it to perfection - anguish, irritation, disdain all there. Waiting for romance to start.
