Well there are many forumwasis who are angry & upset at how can Devakshi have Sex when moments before Sona is angry on Dev like hell & then what promises could have Dev made to Sona that she is so cooled all of a sudden& jumped in for it. And what kind of woman Sona is that she melts away so easily seeing Dev.
But I think we have to wait till monday on this scene unfolds.
But I don't know if I am the right person to write about this but sex is something that involves all of your emotions & Sonakshi is at its most vulnerable point where all she wants is to be loved, cherished & caressed unconditionally by her husband at most not by words merely but by shear physical intimacy. And there is a part of her insecure about Dev leaving her one day & then comforting her with words in bedroom only. And she does not want that. She wants to be sure of her man always by her side & thats where intimacy kicks in. Intimacy has got this thing that can give you a sudden adernaline rush to forget everything. And I know many people say here that how could she give away so easily but then giving away to intimacy is not in your hands( that's what I think) and especially when a part of you yearns for it very badly. So, here all the independence, confidence, respect & dignity is gone for a moment. Dev must definitely have made her trust him again by his twisted words and I think Sonakshi gives herself again to it because its her love for him without which she feels herself incomplete. That is why they say "Love is blind". It does not see anything apart from the person itself.
And it is really easy for us to analyze the situation because we are thinking rationally at the point from a distance & God forbid might fail to do even that if ever we are trapped in a similar situation like that in real life. But Devakshi are the mere characters which Sharica are portraying & this has got some reality to it. As they say "Man is hungry of respect & a woman is hungry of love". Even in the worst of the situation a woman can compromise on her love (and thats what creates submissive woman in real lives which is not subjected only to uneducated & dependent woman only but happens with high class woman too).
Remember Pratyusha & Jiah khan. These too were self-independent woman but still what happened with them was heart wrenching. And there are many out there. It takes a strong will to stay strong headed and this will is the outcome of many things not only the self-dependence & education. And we should not forget Sonakshi has always wanted a fairy tale romantic love story for herself. And I don't know but womaen especially Indian women have this thing deep down in their hearts & all thanks to our upbringing & family teachings from the females of our families which I hate the most to listen. Many are the same but times are changing now.
And as for this scene, makers need to take story forward. They want Sonakshi to conceive naturally without undergoing a treatment. So they had to show such a scene & with the slap scene coming & Sonakshi leaving the Dixit house, they needed to show a strong point in Sonakshi's favor & that is the Child. Otherwise Dev might go after Sona but Ishwari will again have a point to brainwash Dev on the part that Sona left him on her will & he should consider remarrying for her "Salon ka Sapna" sake. And Dev after several denials as usual will do what she says. So how will Ishwari be given nightmares if not with Sona's child. After all she will need to have a real bomb explosion to give in to Sona for her "Sapna" & "ghar ka chirag". So, no offence to either Sonakshi or CVs unless CVs still show this track with some strong point.
Long post but thats purely my opinion. So if you want to bash, go ahead for trying to justify the Sona's state of mind from Psycological point of view & societal point of view because that's what is the ground reality even today in our society. A society where "Marital rape" & "Triple talaq" is a debatable issue, you can't have high hopes from CVs too.
