Hey guys, it's been a while. I've been keeping away from the forum for a while now since I'm drowning in work but I feel I needed to make this post for all the pandemonium in the forum after yesterday's episode.
Everywhere I see people bidding their adieux to Beyhadh after yesterday's episode, saying they will stop watching the show if Maya turns negative, hating on the crew for having mislead people with the promotions and using certain actors popularity, etc. Take a chill pill guys and just sit back and watch. I do not think the CVs would be capable to show Maya responsible for a murder 60something episodes into the show. It doesn't seem rational or legit for that matter. However, this is a thriller and you can expect anything to happen. I also think the editing for the next episode preview has made a lot of people furious. I get it, but I think their intention was to create a cliff-hanger and make sure nobody misses the next episode, I think the public perceived it it wrong way and just jumped off the cliff rather than hanging onto it (bad time for jokes, maybe?).
On one hand I expected something like this from Maya's character at some point. We all have seen her obsessive side, we all are aware of the power she has and we also know that she is capable of using that power for her convenience and benefit regardless of the law, why so surprised? I would not be a bit surprised if Maya actually turns out to be responsible for the pandit's murder, disappointed maybe, surprised definitely not.
I do not think the writers will make SaaJun end-game. I don't think it's possible, at least not anytime soon or at this part of the show. Saanjh is a very weak character at the moment, she cannot make it to be in the lead pair as yet.
Just take a deep breath and wait for the clock to strike nine, be a dedicated fan and keep watching, wait for it, I'm sure you will not be disappointed. Beyhadh has never failed to surprise and will hopefully stay the same.
[Do not bash, all bashing comments will be reported. These are my personal views on the matter.]
Regarding my personal views on this matter, I would not stop watching if Maya turned negative. I would, perhaps, begin to like the show even more. I want nothing more than ArYa being end-game but a darker Maya would be very appealing to me as a viewer. I have always been very much intrigued by dark characters, and I usually tend to like them so much more than actual protagonists in most shows. I also think Jenny would do great justice to her character no matter what. If I did have to choose between ArYa and Maya as a negative character, I would definitely choose ArYa but Maya turning negative isn't something that would bother me as much as it would to most people. Again. it's a personal preference. Do not bash.
