One sunny day, Pragya and Purab were walking on an abandoned street hatching their next plan to make Abhi confess his love for Pragya.
They were so engrossed that they didn't realize a man running to them.
The man bumped into Purab and Pragya. He dropped the knife in his hand in the process but ran off.
As Purab and Pragya wondered what is going on, they found a blood stained body a few feet away. It didn't take them long to realize the body was dead.
Police cars braked fast to find the body with Pragya and Purab.
A constable said, "Sirji, the murder weapon is here. And there is blood on both these people. It must be the dead guy's blood".
"Inspector Saheb, yes the blood must be that guy's, but it's not what you think", Pragya started to cry.
"It's not her", came running Purab.
"Why are you protecting her?" said the officer.
"She didn't do it", screamed Purab.
"I get it now. You both did it. Constables, put both these people under arrest. Collect blood evidence from their clothes and the murder weapon, and get it compared to the body's at the lab" said the officer and got into his car.
10 years later:
Abhi got his memory back and kicked Taaliyah out of his life. Daadi told him the whole story of Purab/Pragya in jail due to a murder blame which they did not commit. Abhi ran to the jail to find two important people of his life serving sentences.
Abhi bailed them out and shouted on the police officers for arresting the wrong people.
"They never really told us otherwise", said the officer who had arrested them, now an ACP.
"We had no proofs", said Pragya and Purab unanimously.
"Proof my foot" said Abhi as he asked them to sit in his car.
