I think he was trying to make Anika Jealous ..and prove that she cares move ..just like she challenged him

I think he saw Anika coming through the glass door so he did that to annoyed her. He wasn't even touching Tia watch the precap clearly his eyes was looking Anika way only!

I think he secretly also enjoys Annika giving it to Tia because right now he is in a position where he cannot do it himself without risking his family name and Om 😆
