This is not a purely historical show. It is historical fiction and a period drama. There will definitely be fiction. The problem is what kind of balance the makers strike between history and fiction could be 50/50 or even 15/85. We really cannot dictate the exact content in such shows.

Regarding your other point of what is Nandini going to do with a degree which she gets under an assumed identity, though the degree might not be of use, the knowledge and wisdom she gains in Takshashila cannot be taken away from her though her degree can be taken away from her. It will remain with her for life.

Secondly, I feel Nandini's true identity will be revealed at some point and she is going to get that degree in her own name. All things are going to build up towards that. Things are going to change after that in Takshashila where even woman scholars are going to be accepted and given equal opportunity for education and learning.

But I am sure at some point Chanakya will discover who she really is. Thoda drama hoga. But ultimately he'll also marvel at the fact that she has been one his best students, way better than many boys, and thus she will get the degree on her own name. I am sure this whole track will also seal the Chandra-Nandini relationship in some exceptionally positive way.

I am quite liking the current track. When I had read about it earlier, it had sounded pretty ridiculous. And maybe it IS rather illogical on paper (and otherwise 😆). It's definitely abrupt. Especially with two sworn enemies in the picture.

But I think the way it's been executed is what is making it endearing (loud shoutout to Rajat Tokas 😳❤️)
