Symbolism #1 : Arjun's writing Maya's name along with his family members.
Interpretation #1: Maya's going to be an integral part of Arjun's life and family. Perhaps as a potential life partner.
Interpretation #2 : Maya's forms relationships strong enough to able considered as a part of Arjun's life and his family.
Interpretation #3 : The waves could also possibly wash off the area where these names were written in sand (in Monday's episode) suggesting, Maya's inclusion in Arjun's life and his family could only bring high tidal waves in their lives. (as in danger, harm, chaos, unrest., etc)
Symbolism #2 : Arjun writing Saanjh's name in a different space and the waves wash it off.
Interpretation #1 : Saanjh no longer serves any purpose or role in Arjun's life and no longer holds any significance.
Interpretation #2 : Arjun writes Saanjh's name separately unconsciously because she means something else to him, not a family equivalent. Love, perhaps?
Interpretation #3 : Saanjh's name is washed off because as of now she's meant take step back, distance herself and not be in Arjun's life for the time being. Only to return when she's destined to, to play a crucial role. Could either become his love later on or just remain a best friend.
Symbolism #3 : Arjun feeling Saanjh's absence deeply despite being in the best of phase personally and professionally.
Interpretation #1 : He just misses her because he's used to her being around.
Interpretation #2 : He misses her as she's his best friend.
Interpretation #3 : He misses her as in no space or universe can Arjun do without Saanjh. She's one person who always was and always will remain important to him. May be as a best friend, may be as a lover, may be as a soul mate.
What am trying to do here? I just gave you 5 of the possible ways to fit Maya's name along with Vandana and Ayan's. There could have been number of permutation and combinations to do that. I don't think Arjun's intelligent enough to write an anagram of sorts which has a meaning to it. Ask him and he'll probably tell you that he wrote it as 1st option because that needn't require him to repeat two of Maya's alphabets.
With the symbolism, I offered multiple interpretations because that's how it is. For the first time these symbolism's weren't self-explanatory and self-sufficient but were left open to interpretation. Point being, the interpretation will differ with regards to your thought-process. I could even go to say that Arjun wrote Maya's name connected to his mother's name because he has motherly feelings for her. Ridiculous, no? 🤡 Thus, I won't 'cause I ain't stupid to come up with any random theory or argument to fit my bill. 😎
So, never be too sure is the lesson when it comes to Beyhadh. Personally, I'm inclined towards interpretation 2 and 3 for symbolism 1, to 3 for symbolism 2 and to 3 for symbolism 3.
Special mention to Beyhadh's team for the cinematography. 👏 The visuals were absolutely stunning and I wish I could have fit myself into Arjun's bag to somehow land myself a Maritius trip too. 😒 This track is going to be great both in terms of moving the story forward and watching those scenically beautiful places.
