I assume that most of you must have seen the episode by now. So I think I need not give a summary of what happened. First I signed up for a bit of history when I joined watching this show. Then I somehow consoled myself telling it is a historical fiction. Okay nowadays even that doesn't seem to be working.
I see some amount of chemistry in the interactions of the lead pair. At least give me a proper love story. Please don't sink the ship in kitchen politics. The Khaleja joke is plainly irritating and obnoxious now. Durdhara got Sunanda to give her opinion on Yavans and their food habits? Next time I suppose she will seek Naapit Nand if she manages to get hold of him.
I am liking the interaction between the main leads. But this doesn't mean that CVs can give me any recycled stuff and arm-twisting in the name of chemistry and romance. Arm marodna tha toh Thoda reasonable reason dikhadehthe? Kuch bhi?
And why are they making Chandra so moorkh around Malayketu? Not believing Nandini is one thing and foolishly believing Malay is another thing. He doesn't even test her statements or give her the benefit of doubt before rejecting them.
Aur Nandini is warrior princess, isn't she? Which warrior princess listens to some creep or stalker spouting nonsense and touching her in such a bad manner without reacting. Husband trusts her or not, Nandini could have at least slapped Malayketu when they were alone. Two slaps of Malay by Nandini and TRPs would have sky rocketed. All the material is there. Only thing it is not being used.
Another universal pet theme of all CVs, murder attempts on an unborn child begins. This is going to drag on for months. My only request to CVs is please be consistent in your episodes. Please don't become Ghajinis after delivering an OK episode and deliver a poor one. Remember what you write in one episode at least for one full week. Am I expecting too much?
