I re-watched that particular scene from yesterday three times, and each time i got the hint that dadi is hiding the fact from manish that there is some issue between keerti and her husband which dadi doesn't want manish to know about as she is really old-fashioned and wants keerti to make her marriage work no matter what, and hence is forcing keerti to stay mum about her troubled marriage. Everybody is under the impression that manish isn't supportive of keerti and doesn't care about her troubled marriage, but rather from that scene i understood that manish isn't even aware of what is going on and dadi seems to be hiding it all from him and forcing keerti to not tell him either. Please someone tell me they also noticed this too? Because i noticed this each time i watched the scene.
To a certain extent, this dadi is also the reason for misunderstandings between karthik and manish as she does things but, karthik assumes his dad is behind it. karthik in his first scene with keerti talked about their family isn't supporting her in her problems, and karthik was evidently talking about his dad in that scene because he thinks too highly of his dadi to say that about her as she always pretends to be perfect and nice in front of him, but in fact i think dadi is even hiding keerti's problem from manish and karthik is assuming it is manish who doesn't care about her.
