I agree to most of you that the process should have been gradual, not at a go. I also would have loved to see the slow realization.
But then if you look back there was no scope for that. Arjun used the harshest words for Vandana and Vandana packing her bags was right. Because after what he said especially the line you were waiting for my mother to die was literally way too harsh.
Arjun is also damaged, but not to the extend Maya is. He also doesnt know how to handle relations. Because he went abruptly from Maya without telling her why he is going, swift action is his trademark.
He acts , thinks later whether it was right or wrong. He lives in the moment.
Coming to Maya. For me Maya only revealed part of her story. She might have revealed everything if Arjun had not left her like that. But his leaving her mid way she will not open up the rest now for sure. Fearing he might go away if he hears the rest.
I feel Maya has alter ego. She was not a child that had psycho problems by birth. But the situations finally would have created an alter ego in her to protect herself and her mother from her father. When alter ego comes Maya is strong, frightening else a frightened girl. Not sure to what extend Maya realizes the manipulation she is doing. Because she always justifies herself. And I feel she does have an alter ego which she doesnt know that exists in her. Ashwin might be aware of it and that alter ego would have done something. Usually in such people multiple alter ego exists. One their self, other not harmful but a pleasing one or you can say tolerable one. Her CEO state is that tolerable one which she might be aware of. A third vindictive alter ego will exist in her that can be harmful to her and others. I dont think anyone will come close to that alter ego that soon
Jhanvi her problem is the problem of the woman of that generation. Sudharo husband mission. Belief ek din Ravan Ram ban jaayega 😆😆. Sati savithri pativratha. So she will cajole her kid, tell her husband not to repeat. He will repeat and she will continue cajoling and advicing. if Jhanvi had it in her to walk out on Ashwin when she knew Ashwin was after money Maya would have been spared. But in allowing Maya to walk through the torture for her so called illusion of pure and perfect love , Jhanvi is more responsible than Ashwin on creation of such a damaged person.
