And now I know where Kartik gets his anger from!

The first scene yesterday between Kartik and Manish was extremely powerful. All the hurt and anger that Kartik felt for his father came tumbling out, and for Manish, each word spoken by his son, felt like a stab wound in the heart.

In my opinion, Kartik was wrong yesterday(and yes, I'm sure many don't agree but it is just my thoughts).

Without finding out all the details of who and why they went to ask for Naira's rishta, Kartik took all his anger out on Manish. To be honest, a lot of this has probably been building up too, but the way he accused his father was not fair either.

Obviously there was alot of hidden meaning behind the accusations too, which probably has something to do with his mother's death, but as a shocked family looked on, Kartik asked his father to first understand what being a human was before trying to be a father.

It was hurtful, and an angry Manish tells the family that from now on, no one will speak about Kaira's marriage in the house.

I'm sure, when Kartik finds out the truth later he will feel extremely bad. Kartik's anger for his father right now has replaced the love for him in his heart. Once he rediscovers that love, Kartik will be the first one to make amends with his father.

I loved the Naitik-Naira scene, where he gives her the lengha and tells her to move on in life. The father and daughter have such a lovely bond. Such a contrast to the one Kartik has with his dad.

Daadi.

Goodness me! What a manipulative woman! All this happened because of her, yet she was willing for her son to take the blame to look good in the eyes of her Grandson. Now it's been made clear to the audience how she actually feels. She dislikes Naira and wants the marriage to break. She will definitely use the fact that Kartik loves her so much to her advantage.

And now that beautiful Kaira scene. How utterly gorgeous are they. From the moment Naira went down to her knees, to their little nok jhok about the proposal, and then the way they made a garland with their arms and wrapped themselves round each other. Just so, so cute! They just make you smile. You just want to protect them from everything that's coming their way.

In the pre-cap, Naitik comes to Manish with the marriage proposal, but Manish says the rishta can't happen.

Another exciting episode to look forward to.

I agree with you actually. Kartik was boiling mad yesterday. In a state of rage, often times people lose their ability to think rationally. The same happened with him. He was so livid, he didn't think to ask the what and why. Dadi makes a very feeble and ineffective attempt to stop him, whether to own up or just to calm him, we will never know. As Kartik is in no mood to listen to anyone. All his pent up anger of all the years comes out all at once. And boy I felt so sorry for Manish! He did not deserve it. I get that you are cross with your dad, to put it mildly, but Kartik, honey, you are barking up the wrong tree this time. I still love you though.😳

Dadi, your very futile attempt, is no redemption for you, if at all you were going to own up.

This woman is just vile and sly and a two-faced scheming b***h (sorry she deserves it). How in the world Kartik adores her so much is beyond me. He is fond of all the wrong people in that family. He detests the sweet Suvarna and softie Manish while loves dadi and chachi whose only job is to add fuel to fire. Naira will straighten him out in future I guess.

Thank God, we had the cute Kaira scene in the second half to calm us after tolerating dadi. Them together in one frame is just magic and you can't help but fall in love with them. I am always smiling like an idiot when I see them together.

I just felt the transitions were a little abrupt this time. Don't know if people will agree. Loved it nevertheless.

Another good episode coming our way.

kaira proposal scene was so damn adorable i cant help but grin like a mad during var n vadhu wala part 😳 kuch twist ayega in shadi.

It was a great episode yesterday as well.
Sachin and Mohsin both were excellent in the first scene, Karthik's anger towards Manish wasn't because of sending the proposal, it was obvious that if luv kush knew about the proposal, chacha, chachi, Keerti and dadi everyone would know, but he only blasted at Manish and all that Karthik said wasn't for taking the proposal to Singhanias it was because of what happened in the past or more like what Karthik thinks happens in the past. I wouldn't say Karthik is right, but I wouldn't say he is wrong either, more like misguided.
Naitik and Rajshri getting Naira to move forward, was a lovely scene. Telling her how much Akshara wanted Naira and Karthik be happy together.
Dadi Karthik scene all I was wondering the day Karthik gets to know her true face how he is going to feel. Once he understands Swarna and Manish the guilt of hurting them will be there and then he comes to know the dadi who he trusted most wanted his and Naira's relation to break that she was the one to take the rishta, but never said anything when he was speaking against Manish, he is going to feel hurt and cheated as well.
Kaira scene was lovely. Naira asking Karthik that she would tell him something next morning, but Karthik impatient and preponds their meeting in the night itself. Aur anokhi female lead getting down on one knee and proposing the male lead. Karthik going down on her knees to meet Naira's height, and the baton ka haar. The ending scene of Naira Karthik sharing the sweater had been lovely as well.

I loved the whole father son arguments.. it was like kartik had been holding his pain for too long..and finally let it out..

Loved the proposal more.. the varmala part.as i said elsewhere..was the best part...

The candy analogy to sindhoor lightened up the emotional moment..

Dadi kartik bonding is beyond my comprehension for now.. may be kartik liked the step mom initially but dadi tried creating misunderstandings.. i somehow feel chachi and dadi have a hand in it.

It was a great episode..after many years this show is giving equal importance to all characters..
