Let me tell a story. Once upon a time there was a guy who lived with his wife in a small village. His wife was fond of gardening. She planted several plants and wished to get flowers out of those by the end of the season. One day she wished for a rose plant. The man tried to reason with his wife that the place where they live isn't suitable for a rose plant to grow. The temperature of that area isn't favourable. The wife retaliated. She didn't agree and denied to listen to him. She pleaded the husband to anyhow bring a rose plant for her. Soon she started ignoring her other plants too. Due to her ignorance, the other plants started drying up. The man seeing his gloomy wife, then decided to create an imaginary alternate universe for her. He brought fake rose plants in the house and placed them with other plants in the garden. The wife initially became happy not realising that the plants are not real. She watered them, loved them and started loving others as well. She was proud of those fake roses as it made her garden look more beautiful. The man knew, that some day his wife will know that they are no real roses but he expected his wife to come to love those unreal plants as well by the time she will get to realise the truth.

After a few months, the wife realised what had happened. She fought with her husband. Badmouthed him but couldn't throw away the fake rose plant. It stayed there at the centre of the garden increasing the beauty of the place.
Moral of the story is that, there are two ways of setting things right in life. 1. Talk, protest, try to make others understand and present your point of view. The result might be positive or negative or it might even result in others' agreeing to you with a half heart. 2. Create an alternate situation to make one understand what's right and what is not right.
Human beings are naturally resistant towards any change. We are resistant towards accepting new things in our life. Hence, bringing in any sort of change isn't easy. Either you fight for change or you create situation to make one see the good in the change. Dev took the route of creating an alternate universe' at his home. In his words, he created the parallel reality' he saw forming that day when Ishwari assumed Sona to be pregnant at the Dixit mansion.
...
But the problem here is, he isn't a part of this alternate universe. While trying to compete with God, somehow, he tried to become the God' of Ishwari and Sona's life and now only the real God knows where this will lead him. The irony here is that, Dev had to make himself fall in the eyes of others to get Sonakshi her deserving place. And he has made himself fall so low intentionally, that it's going to be hard to make others understand his intentions in future. It's like to make Ishwari and Sona reach the light, he is pushing himself repeatedly into the dark. Now it's upto Ishwari and Sona's capability to pull Dev into the light at the correct time understanding why he did what he did.
The few things things about yesterday's episode that I loved the most -
1. Have you ever seen a hero being glad joyous for getting thrown out of the house by his mother for his wife? It seemed Dev could not control his joy. And why would he not? His experimental hope worked to the extent even he could not imagine. The alternate universe he created in his home, has bonded his wife and mother. A bond in which even he is excluded.
2. For me Ishwari didn't do what she did only for Sonakshi. She did it for Riya as well. Starting from warning Radha Rani to throwing Dev out, Ishwari was firm with her decision about Ayaan. It's not about standing up for your pregnant daughter in law against your suddenly appearing to be insane son. It's about supporting the woman who cared for your daughter's safety even when you failed to do so. Every mother would appreciate that.

3. Ishwari and Sona had a conversation yesterday that actually kick started the beginning of a new relationship between them. They talked. Mostly Ishwari talked. She accepted her flaws, didn't justify herself but definitely vocally admitted where she was wrong. yesterday, she appreciated Sona's goodness. The best part that I loved was Ishwari accepting how she gave that lecture on Dev's birthday only to taunt Sona. Coming that from her, is really a big change! When Sona's goodness, Mamaji's lecture and Dev's futile attempts failed to Ishwari realise, Dev's attempt to create this alternate reality did the magic. But will it last longer? Let's see.
4. Another line from Ishwari that probably would have brought a smile on everyone face. "I know Dev would not have been happy because I didn't support him, But I know my son. He would be happy because today I stood by you". How true is that, isn't it? And how many of you did notice Ishwari folding Sona's clothes yesterday while cleaning her cupboard? She wasn't really cleaning her son's stuff but arranging her daughter in law's clothes! And so much had happened earlier in matters of these same clothes! Miracles do happen sometimes!

5. And I really enjoyed that scene of Dev and Ayaan. In fact, I had been laughing on that Ayaan since Monday thinking of his stupidity. Some villains are created to make you laugh or annoy you rather than making you angry. Ayaan was annoyingly laughable. Like seriously, what makes him think Dev would really give Riya to him to save his own collar? Such a fool! And did I forget to say how gripping was Shaheer Sheikh while portraying that confident, sarcastic and overtly joyous Dev? Saw that avatar of him after quite a long time. And it was good to see Mr. Aubhodro appearing like that on screen after a long time.
Author's note:
long time.
P.S:- Sorry for not being very regular with the articles of KRPKAB. I had not been writing because I wanted to watch how this week's episodes unfold. To what extent the positives and negatives of this self created alternate universe is pushed. Wherever the story is standing now, if you felt Sonakshi was in the most vulnerable side last week, then this week's developments have really changed equations. It's Dev who is the most vulnerable right now. Hopefully, Ishwari's journey from being a good mother to a better mother in law has already started. And I am really hoping and wishing, that when everyone would blame Dev for lying and ask him questions as to why he lied, Ishwari at least will try to ponder the real reason. After all, there's a huge difference between getting to know that Dev lied about Sonakshi being pregnant' and Dev hid the fact that Sonakshi cannot become pregnant'. While everyone would know the first instance and ask him questions, I wonder if there's anyone around him who knows him enough to guess the second reason or at least try to find out the real reason.
P.P.S:- Some people complained about not being able to find the old KRPKAB articles on the site. As they wanted to go through the old articles. So here's an easy way for you all. On the homepage, a separate section has been made for the show. You will get all the articles listed under that section without much hustle bustle.
