Then the elder brother who is like a father figure to her comes and says there is a misunderstanding. The guy is not bad and we can continue with the engagement.

Since its her own brother she has no reason to distrust him. So she believes. But she doesn't realise that this was just a pretext of her father like brother to help his own marriage survive.

A few days later big brother exposes the guy, engagement is once again broken, brother manages to fulfil his hidden agenda (as per dev's dreams)

And who is the collateral damage - the innocent trusting sister who once again goes through the same cycle of betrayal and heart break.

But why care what is the value of the emotions and life of a mere daughter as compared to that of Dev and Ishwari - the two God incarnates.

Must salute such brotherly love.

its better rhea cries now and overcomes the grief soon than crying for entire life...dev's intention is to protect his family...his ways may be wrong but it is gud that he has his own plans to expose ayaan...waise bhi rhea is not 100% convinced with the vid and gkb is there to unconvince her...so better dev expose ayaan in a way that there remains no doubt in rhea's mind...

I completely agree with you on How fake is Ishwari's love towards Sona or Dev's child? As you correctly pointed out about the clause in prenup where she excluded even Dev's kids about their rights on Dev's property. I was never looking forward for Ish-Sona bond because before becoming a good MIL she need to first become a good mother. Till now i never saw her selfless or unconditional love for her kids then how can i expect that for Sona(DIL)?

Till now if we see all the convos of Dev-Ish, Whether its her appreciations or accusations, she always used to convey her expectations or reminding him about his duties. In the entire series, the only time she asked him to think about himself was in Nikki's college trip convo and i never saw Dev expecting any thing for himself from his family till now.

In this entire false pregnancy track the only thing that caught my attention was Dev-Ish convo after telling Dev that Sona is pregnant. When Dev asked Ish "Are you my mother? i always wanted to see your love towards Sona the way you love me", For the FIRST TIME i saw Dev expressing about his expectations from his mother vocally. If we see in other way he was actually conveying about his disappointment about her behavior towards Sona and Ish also ack'ed the same by accepting her deeds as a mil. Now he is conveying the intensity of his wish through actions by lying about the pregnancy results.

For Ishwari, Sona is Dev's ZIDD and nothing more than that. She never ack'ed the depth of their love till now. IF Ishwari ever loved Dev at least for once in her entire life the way Dev loves Ishwari and if she was the old Ishwari(the way they were showing her in the recent episodes) who may not be a great mother but was never unreasonable then she will understand why Dev did all of this and its actually her failure as a mother and MIL.

thanx for replying and v gud post...I agree ish has never loved dev in the way he has loved her...while his is unconditional love hers is always conditional...dev never thinks of himself and if he ever doez she reminds him of his responsibilities (as if he ever forgets)...stopping him from going to hm is one biggest example how ish manipulates dev never to think of own happiness

You may be in minority however a few of us can see where DEV was coming from. His methods were wrong (but in character), intention wasn't. He was about to commit a crime but saved
