And sure enough got confused. Is Maya supposed to be paagal? Does she have some magical powers (some early promos seem to indicate that). Please help. Thanks to all in advance.

No Maya don't have any magical power 😆 this is not a magic related story this is very realistic story with realistic people
Maya is suffering from some psychological problem we are not yet sure of what
Her father had tortured her and her mother, something had happened on her 9th birthday but it is not fully revealed what exactly had happened

There are some flashbacks shown In which it was shown that mayas father ashwin mehrotra had tortured her and her mother


I would suggest you to watch from epi 1 to understand the story
