I will start today with a tribute to TV doctors as written by CVs. Congratulations, you have successfully blackened the reputation of one of the most honourable and dignified profession.
They are willing to blurt out patient details to just anyone and even lie to a patient for anyone, anytime. Are you freaking kidding me, CVs? Have you ever been to a doctor or you just visit quacks selling totka on street side?
Anyhoo, moving on to the main story.
I have been saying this over and over since the beginning of the infertility track that the relationships which are built on lies have as much strength as a house made on quick sand. They don't need outside forces to break them, even heavy breathing inside can crumble them like an used pop can.
We saw the consequences of lies and secrets today.
Dev has created such a big web around him that no wonder the spider is closing in.
If I understand him, he is trying to buy time by agreeing to Ayan's deal while he will plot in the back for his downfall. You know, his standard MO.
But Dev, here's a few things you didn't think.
1. You have a high powered job which doesn't give you time to learn how to fold handkerchief. Yet, you expect to continue to deceive your wife while trying to teach Ayan a lesson. Buddy, people take two full-time jobs out of necessity, you took them by choice.
You know what would be easier? Telling the truth. Yes, you will be hated and Sona might loose this temporary winter shower of love, but the sooner you start, the sooner you can begin fixing the cracks in your marriage. But why would you take the easy way out?
2. Sonakshi is temporarily moron, but she is not moron enough to believe that you will risk Riya's happiness for Ayan. So she will start adding and come up with the idea that Ayan has some leverage over you. She has recently acquired the detective hobby. How long before she turns her focus on you?
3. You haven't considered, and I am sad to see that, Riya's feelings in all this. You are making her go ahead with the marriage when you have every intention of not letting it happen but you are not considering the heartbreak she will suffer for being treated like a bait.
The game you are playing Dev, you are a solo player. But you are using the people you love as pawns.
- You used Ishwari's desire for grandkids to get her love for Sonakshi.
- You used Sonakshi's desire to make your mother happy by letting her believe she is pregnant and she can be pregnant
- And now you are using Riya to keep Ayan on check until you can come up with a plan.
Yet you claim it's in the name of love and of course since you claim that, so you must be forgiven.
The words Love and Religion are so massively misused in today's world that it's not even funny. People can do any sort of crime, break any laws, treat people like crap or kill in the name of these two words and expect to be forgiven and they are forgiven.
But no, taking the name of love and religion and committing crime is still a crime and an insult to true love and the God they themselves believe in.
The severity of the crime decides whether intention really has any place in the punishment. Using lofty ideals as shield doesn't cut ice here.
