Mr soulfry, It seems I hit at right place. Voting does happen on religion and region basis. Please, don't pretend that you don't know that Eid was just a day before final. In Voice Of India, what has happened? It people vote on the basis of TALENT, RA would have been winners. Second, polls can be rigged by automatic softwares. People may be living in 19th Century from technology perspective, but security for on-line voting was just absent and any medium caliber software engineer can flood indya.com for voting in favor of their candidate. I accept I was late for doing same for RA.

This is the most ridiculous thing I havem ever read...If people voted on religious lines then A-S wouldn't have stood a chance because as far as I believe, India is only 15% Muslim at most. I have no quarrels with those who say that A-S won because of their "cuteness" more than their dancing skills, because there may be some truth to that. But your claim is completely illogical...especially as far as religion goes.

Very well said. AS wouldnt have stood a chance if only Muslims voted for them. And specially Eid being on the previous day Muslims should not have voted as they are usually busy with the festivities at their home. Remember how prachi said on being eliminated...becasue of Diwali no one voted for her. This has got nothing to do with religon. It is clearly true that AS were much more popular than RA.

I would like to mention that me being a hindu am a big fan of AS and Qazi. Agreed that qazi was not the deserving candidate but i will not agree that AS were less deserving than RA. They were very good since the very first round ... you have to see the joh jeeta woh sikander episode. AS were great in the 1st round and commendable in the 2nd round as well.
