The duo has been walking for what seemed like hours now. Finally and thankfully they saw a little tea stall. "This has got to be the tea stall!" Priyanka exclaimed, a feeling of relief washing through. Ranveer smiled, it felt good to see her so happy. Why?

They walked to the stall and saw two men, along with a woman sitting inside the stall.

Ranveer asked them "hey, do you know when the bus is coming?" "It should come soon" said one of the men. Ranveer indicated Priyanka to sit down on the bench near the stall before he did the same. "Such a gentleman?" Priyanka thought confused.

The woman now noticed them and asked "hello sir and madamji, coming from sheher?" Priyanka said "we are going back actually" to which the woman responded "oh, I see, have a seat, where are you two coming from?"

"We stayed at a rest house about 20-30 miles from here." The woman's eyebrows rose, if possible to the sky. "Madamji, there is no rest house fit for living at 20 miles from here, the only one there was had closed down a long time ago!" the woman exclaimed. Ranveer furrowed his eyebrows. "Abandoned?" "Yes sir, no one can stay there! You guys are lucky to make it back alive!" she exclaimed. "What are you talking about?!" Ranveer asked, shocked. "Sir, I am not joking. She never lets any couple leave!" she exclaimed. Ranveer pulled Priyanka to his side. He wanted to get her away from this crazy lady. "Madamji, rukiye!" the lady exclaimed.

Priyanka stopped him before he could drag her away. "W-What do you mean?" she asked. "I'll tell you the story, if you please sit down" one of the men spoke now. Ranveer had already gotten up but Priyanka insisted, "we can sit here right? Where else are we supposed to sit? The bus will come here." Ranveer sighed and sat back down. "Ji, boliye" he said to the man.

"Once, that house belonged to a zamindar. You see he built this house for his only daughter so that she could visit this place more often. She was extremely beautiful I should add. She was in love with this place. One time when the zamindar and his family came to visit the spot, the said daughter fell in love with a man who once lived there." He pointed to a house at a distant. Then he continued "The problem? The man worked under her dad; he was a Hindu and the zamindar was a Muslim. The zamindar did not accept their relationship. His daughter was extremely stubborn and was willing to go to any length to be with the man she loved. Her brother believed that marrying his sister off to a non-Muslim was a blow to the family's honor and was desperate to protect it. So one night when everyone was sleeping, he killed his sister. The zamindar had lost his mind after that. Her brother died later on, unable to endure the guilt that hit him eventually. The house fell into the hands of the rioters during 1947, and most of it burnt down to ashes. What you see now is only the area where the brother sister duo stayed in. That part mysteriously didn't burn. They say even now, you can hear her cries and sometimes even laughter. She hates it when she sees a happy couple. She might possess either one of them to kill the other. She was a virgin ghost you see, and they say that virgin ghosts are the most deadly ones of all" Ranveer scoffed inwardly. "Riiight, virgin ghost and I am Andrew Belle the singer" he snorted inwardly. Priyanka was shaken. Her mind drifted back to how Ranveer was acting the previous night - he wasn't his usual self, trying to force himself on her. It makes sense! Ranveer was possessed! Who will tell that to Mr. Stubborn though? Priyanka knew that she had to do it herself, because no one else will do it.

They leave from there. Both lost in the man's story. Ranveer thought it is an illogical one but Priyanka had already guessed that Ranveer was possessed last night.

"Dev Dead, Ghost, Possession" he was still in shock, his head started spinning with so many questions. His head felt so heavy that his eyes were going to fall out of their sockets. "I need to relax as of now, I just want to get out of this place." He kicks the small rock that was near his foot in anger it hits the man standing at a distance from them.

"Oh sharks! What the hell is wrong with me."
Priyanka was wondering why is he behaving so weirdly. "You always end up doing something wrong".

"What did you just say Miss Oberoi?" He was clearly pissed off at her. "ACP Ranveer Singh Randhawa?" The man came out of the stopped car."Yes!" Ranveer becomes attentive. The man salutes him and says" Commissioner Roy has sent me for your protocol. Please accept his apology for all the trouble you had to go through in his area" The inspector was standing in respect

"Roy is the in charge of this area?" Ranveer had an obvious smile on his face as if he is someone familiar. "Tell him to do something about that house first". The officer smiles. He opens the back door "Sir allow me to take you and Bhabhi home."

"B-Bhabhi?" PriVeer exclaimed in a surprise
Ranveer stepped in as he thought there was no use of explaining things to the inspector. Priyanka was not liking it as she expected him to say something in defence.

"Sir Commissioner Roy wants to speak with you" The inspector shows the walky-talky to Ranveer who was sitting at the back. The driver didn't notice speed breaker and it made them taste the road. The walky-talky dropped from his hand and it landed on the area between Ranveer's legs. "Aahh!" A terrified scream left his mouth. The response was immediate.
Priyanka who was trying to catch the walky-talky unknowingly was about to touch there alarming him as he holds her hands "Where do you think you are touching?" An embarrassed Ranveer questions Priyanka who according to her was just trying to save him from what happened. "I-I was j-just".

Seeing him in pain Priyanka remembers what she did last night. She felt relieved as he doesn't remember anything. "Wait a minute, I felt exactly like this twice before. Did you... Again... last night?" He was pointing down there. The inspector wanted to apologise for his rash driving but PriVeer were not giving him a chance to speak, he kept on looking at them from the front mirror and was enjoying the Hubby-Wifey bicker.
"You behaved so strangely last night that I was left with no other option". Without hesitating Priyanka says. "Is this the only option you have always, don't you know how it feels?"
"How would I know? And don't YOU know how terrified I was last night?"
"You keep on saying last night, what exactly happened last night? All I know is that I was waiting for you to come out after changing and then I was left in pain on the bed" I am the one who should be terrified by you. Gosh! Prinku you really are a pehlwan".
"Sir do you want me to get out for some time so that you both can discuss about last night"

"Shut up and drive fast". Ranveer was holding it in for a long time. "You tell me what happened in between that. Did I do something?". He asks with a slightly low voice.
"Mr ACP! Last night you were possessed by a virgin's spirit". The inspector presses the breaks on hearing that.

"Hello" Commissioner Roy was still waiting on the walky talky that was no where to be found.

Haunting realities of ghostly tales! 😆 Ranveer wasn't willing to listen to the story of the place, how will he believe that he was possessed? 🤣

P.S: I do not want the IB CVs to ever stumble across this thread for the sanity of our dear PriVeer. 😆

Just read Fizzy's update. Gosh, these two! What a twisted conversation full of double entendres! 🤣 Poor Ranveer! How terribly humiliated must he feel before the officer who interpreted the conversation in a totally different vein. And what must he think of his 'Sir' who was kicked by his 'wife' in such a wrong place. Now wondering if Roy also heard it all. 🤣

And seriously! Just awesome! The range of genres covered in this last bunch of updates prove that Gul would do better to just hire this story circle as her writing team. From Rishu's suspense cum romance to Tahiti's supernatural sexy trysts to finally Fizza's hilarious morning-after description...uff! Laughing so much thinking of what that poor driver must be thinking as well as feeling a slight concern for Sir's family jewels...hope he is strong enough to cope through the courtship phase and remain in one piece for the suhaag raat.

And I will have the next thread up by tomorrow night. So lagey raho, PriVeer shippers!
