Agree with you. I don't find her negative & I hope CVs in the later part of the show doesn't turn her into one.
She's highly intelligent & in such a short time she understood how to get things done by Arjun without coming across as pushy . So yeah she's extremely manipulative & is very good at mind games. Till now she isn't negative like she hasn't killed anyone or anything & it's better it stays this way. She needs help though & I hope she gets it soon .

No Maya is not negative. She is extremely intelligent and smartest in television history...

Maya isn't as bad as most people think.. she likes to be in control because in some ways her past still controls her like she still fears Ashwin.. trying to have control over situations & people around her is her way of keeping herself in check. In fact I consider Maya to be most vulnerable person from inside though she is strongest from outside... it's rather easy to hurt Maya, only difference is she doesn't shows it outward easily. Maya isn't an entirely bad person, she just doesn't know how things are done which is considered 'normal'...hopefully being with Arjun teachs her that... Maya probably has more insecurities than Saanjh would ever have.

I can't say her as completely negative but she do have negative thoughts...

Maya is now 25 and successful running her business... at this young age with such hard and bad past and still achieved success at this young age is commendable...and I'm sure her business must have got profit and also loss so she must have dealt with both.. so if she can take low side of her life in good manner then she can take her personal life hurdles too in same manner... so even if Arjun doesn't accept her she should go forward in life as many persons life depend on her in her company and not to choose foolish attempt ...I like some of her ways which she do but the way she drags the matter end up looking negative for me ... for example-
1) she should be strict with employees but not at the cost of terminating them bcz of her personal life...i said this bcz when the girl in party was flirting with her she removed her from job and another incident is when 15 year experience lady came and flirting with Arjun she didn't take her in job... so being professional and as Arjun always says she doesn't mix professional and personal life she should not do such things...inshort she will fire evryone who comes closer to Arjun...

2) being in love she can feel jealousy or possessive but the way she plans to torture people like making saanj wait for hours(if it's some other I doubt she would do that) and giving Arjun leave and make him to run after her and allowing him for lunch with saanj and makes sure he doesn't go.. kind of villain smile she gives seeing Arjun saanj fight..

3) her controlling nature... she can control him if she thinks he is going on bad way and can be adamant on her opinion but not like how she treats jhanvi giving her jailed life .. hiding things from her...

Evryone may do all these but maya is going in extreme way in all these which actually may end up troubling other person whom she will live with in future...

The only reason she's not completely positive is because she gets what she wants and that too by any means (good or bad).
