I see forum in mixed reaction seeing Dev say a lie that he feels is doing good.

What is your reason for your opinion?

absolutely unpardonable according to me.. it is not good to lie to loved ones.. a lie is like a cancer.. it creeps into the very marrow of one's bones.. before one can realise it, they have to resort to a n number of lies..

I voted for the 1st one because what he did is a big SIN ...he knows very well his wife has just few percentage chance to be a mom naturally and he gave her wrong hope thinking that his mom and his wife 's relationship will improve?? how can a man stoop down to this level of selfishness...I am sorry but wont justify his act...he not even once thought abt this girl he married...

AND CV TEAM YOU HAVE MADE A JOKE OUT OF WOMEN PROFESSIONALS!!

She is doctor and she doesnt ask for report or want to look at her HCG level...any educated lady when she gets to know abt her pregnancy that is one thing that she will be curious to see in her blood report ...because that is a major deciding factor atleast in the initial stages...

Dev better stand by Sona when the tables are going to turn and I hope he convinces her not to separate from him and not blindly agree to his mom and aunt for a second marriage..

Dev is in such a volunerable situation right now

he knows his lie will be out soon he is aware of it but seeing his mother and wife so happy together kills the very idea to tell the truth

yes he is been selfish but he also have craved for his mother to truly accept Sona

is Dev wrong yes and no

of course we all know to lie it causes major problems there will be pain soon so he is aware of that he just wants to hold on to that little comfort for his wifes sake

Thanku Jade...u've voiced out my thoughts clearly through ur post...this is what i've stated in some other post...

How far and upto what extent will u go for the happiness of ur luved ones...???

Dis is what is being answered to us by dev ...his luv for sona & ishwari knows no boundaries...he is always being protective towards his luved ones...he wants to sheild them from all the odds & atrocities of life...that is what has been always taught to dev...to be stiff like a soldier always on-duty to safeguard his territory...

Now he's all geared up for the blames coming his way...but for now he doesn't want that golden moment to fade away where he's seeing what he believed it to be next to impossible so soon...

Yes he knows that it's a dream...but he's letting himself to enjoy the dream until someone comes up and awakes him from his dreamland...

You can call me dev's supporter or anything...but i don't know why i'm not angry at him...why i just can't ignore his last dialogues frm the episode...

Personally i don like such people . Even if they r doing this for protecting someone, which can b fatal n ends up in total distruction once the truth is out.

A simple advice to Dev : be a man, accept the reality n face the truth . V can never hide lies for so long. ( & if people r doing such things, believe me, they r going thru mental traumas ,v may never know )

I can understand Dev but what he did today was very wrong. I don't know if you have read the story of the Russian author Fyodor Dostoyevsky. He was subjected to a mock assassination drill when he was imprisoned in Siberian camp. The prisoners were all blind folded and were led to an open area where they were going to be shot to death. But just before the countdown started the guards started laughing and making fun of them telling them that it was all a joke. His companions lost their sanity after this incident. The emotional torture they were subjected to turned them mad. Though this is different from what Dev is doing it is not that different for Sona

I think he was partially correct.. He hid d fact coz of d bonding which he saw between sona and ishwari... Bt ys cld hv made some other excuses...

bonding with perks..thats beyond what I can admire..Sorry Ishwari, but there is a limit for being selfish and inspite of so many knocks..she still couldnt get any sense or drive sense to his son.

but my question is to Sona..From when did you become so dumb?

I would like to stress the fact if he had said no she is not pregnant . Or can still rectify and say the previous results were incorrect and she is not pregnant. The course of action would b Ishwari would cry like the fever incident that my tajurba is old etc etc. but y would she love Sona less or the bond break cause she still wants grandchild n is not aware of Sona condition. She would infact care ,love and give the couple more personal time n privacy hence would solve both their purpose isn't it.

Why would Sona b disappointed ,common so many people anticipate pregnancy all the time And it's natural process, the fun is in trying right. Early days of marriage nobody bothers with negative result. As hope is not dwindled yet.

So it would have been best possible approach for CV. Tell the results r negative. Ishwari would give them more me time ,possibly send them to Pais for belated honeymoon. Dev could sit back n talk with Sona about the condition , tackle the problem early , Dev temple visit could work then and both work towards it. This would have been an intelligent approach is not it.
