Sarveshwar- the giver of life

It is ironical that Dev bowed in front of Shiva the giver of life and destroyer. In bhagavat Gita, krishna says if you worship you ancestors, you go the ancestors. Though I have not watched the show as much I am quite show Dev considers his mother, a goddess. But then it is a mirage. The ultimate reality is God. A young child loses faith in God. When at a tender age, his father dies. When he knew nothing of fate. It was etched in his subconscious at that time. It is clear that people can't change that perception of him. God had let that happen, God has to break that perception. Why now? Till today Ishwari was goddess for Dev but through Sonakshi when he understand Ishwari was a human. His mother who he must give utmost reverence but surely she was not goddess. When Dev started realising that. It is time for God to restore faith in Dev. A sincere prayer from the heart will always be heard. Yesterday Dev surrendered in bhakthi to the Lord. When God gives difficulty he surely gives the ability to face them. Surely Dev has created that shield around him before he embarks on the journey which might either make or break him or his dear ones.
P.S yesterday I was reminded of Parth bowing to Madhav in star MB after receiving the Gita updesh.
Hariyin oliyai arivadhu ondre nalvazhi
Padha marayia manamadharkum gita thandadu nalvazhi.
( to know God is the only right path
The one whose heart had been misled is brought to righteousness though Gita)

For Dev the former has happened. He has realised God. Though he was like I will believe if you do this. It's his first step in bakthi. So it's as though he is striking a deal😆. It would be interesting how his growth in spirituality would be. Will his trust be the purest form of bhakthi that God will deliver his trust. Or does he want only acceptance rather a cordial relation between Ishwari and Sonakshi that God might make it happen in a different way. A relation that will stand through as that of a mother and daughter. Only time will say.

P.P.S no bashing.

The belief starts from disbelief only. All the devotion and all the love comes to me only that is written in bhagavat gita. His devotion towards his mother and his pure love towards sona is coming to shiva only. He is bowing down in front of HIM just out of cravings and desires but when he will see the real.truth then he will understand all the games of HIM and then only emotional stabilty will come to his mind and will free from past. This is called ultimate realisation and enlightenment then only he wud figure out that his mother is not God instead a human who is made of expectations and desires only. All the realtions are nothing but an unwanted.bond that do not let ua to reach shiva. The ultimate goal is only Shiva.

I just realised I missed a important point. He lied. He kept the truth in darkness. This is his own making. When he gains the courage to tell truth. Surely he is evolving in spirituality😃

Very rightly said! Yesterday's scene was a very significant. It marked a major change in Dev's character and life.
As u said Ishwari has lost her god status in Dev's life, his bowing and pleading in front of god signified that first time ever Dev had no one to look upto when he was in trouble.

Sonakshi has changed him to that extent that the mere thought of loosing her made him break all his reservations against god and made him plead.

True she was the medium. Infact I will even credit her for making Dev honest towards Ishwari. He keeps lying at times and that's setting parameters high. Truth hurts at time but it will not harm.
I mean the scene when he eats in Bijoy house but eats again when Ishwari serves him.

Had read some parts of Bhagwad Gita for TP, but had read this one too!
And you are somewhere right and somewhere not, from my pov...
You are right that through Sonakshi he knows that Ishu isn't any god but he now needs to know the reality of his life that he should be set free from mother's hands as it seems like such a crybaby one thing that he is pampered till now, or even that's OK, but what about his mom interfering in their personal time...
Whereas people have their perspectives towards life and eventually towards God!
To be fair, we all know its destiny that plays with us like a dice game, but if someone is very practical and doesn't ought to believe in all these stuff and stick to reality then let be their choice and this is the same case with Dev!
Some people are Aastik so some Nastik, I believe in god so even I would say the same thing U said, that Shiva is one who can destroy and create us and our life!
Dev was told to believe in god & may be his father would have been safe but destiny might have been cruel to him and snatched his father but then even then Sonakshi is not having all sweet fruits, she is also being snatched away her rights of being mother...
Like we say we don't get all what we wish but get those what other wish for...
Everything's equal, if Dev doesn't get his time spending with father, Sonakshi wont be getting(if infertility) the time of spending with her baby...Or even if she becomes pregnant, then she would be snatched away her deserving happiness from in-laws family...(As you see Neha is jealous with her, RR and Ishwari are selfish, Dev is happy only because his mom's dream is over that she got to be Dadi, But in all this Sonakshi was one who got love but out of everyone's selfishness and not deserving one)
Thereby, everything get equal, but God helps us in making way out of these cruel destinies and not darkness as Krishna had said darkness never surrounds you it comes in yourself if you start believing in wrong aspects of life or else open your eyes you would see only light like crystal clear that is stay with truth and selfless love...I had heard somewhere and I loved maybe I want be able to keep in wotds but hope you understand...

Anushka

Thank you Di for sharing your thoughts. My post is not very different from yours except I stressed that Dev had to understand God. I agree to your point. Darkness will never envelop you. You create your own destiny. Btw aastik and nastik point was a good parallel u brought out.
