Bhai Sahab, Kya Episode Tha..!!đđź
We literally had no idea that this was coming, so impact was even stronger because of that. I'm glad there were no sequences of this on SBB, SBS, IBN7, etc. etc.
Just a few days back, I was thinking that whenever the reveal of what Shivaay did happens, it should happen through a video segment(no matter how illogicalđ). Because I didn't just want the Oberoi family to know what he did, I wanted them to see it, I wanted them to see what a monsterđ their son, their brother was capable of becoming. And tbh this episode hit it out of the park with that.
When we were watching tonight's episode, my mom said "ground wale scene bhi shoot kar liya kisi ne" and I put up my hand and said "mummy sense mat nikal iss ka.. vo to diya leke dhundenge to bhi nahi milega.. tu jo dikha rahe hain usmein khush reh.. " i literally coudn't control my happiness with this scene.!! Usually I'm the first one in my family to point out plotholes regarding these video reveals in any show.. It's like ki agar camera hoga to bhi ek hi to angle se shoot karega na.. par nahi.. ye Indian shows main to har ek angle se, aur pure close up ke sath video reveal karte hain..!! par koi nahi, this time i was like logic ko goli maro, just savour this gem of an episode..đ I am so glad ki jyada khicha nahi is track ko.. And all the reactions made so much sense, except for Dadi's, cause aaj kal vo kisi alag hi duniya main rehti hain..đ Anika told her ki usse jabardasti shadi ki thi, bhai ko dhamkaya tha, and that lady was more concerned with "ek suhagan se uska mangalsutra utarne ka pap mat kar"đ anyway dadi stopped making sense to me a long time back..!!
Moving On. I loved how Sahil just started hitting him with his crutch, he was so hurt, he was angry at SSO, and he was angry at himself, that he wasn't able to protect his sister. Like Anika said earlier in the episode, "chota hai, par khud ko mera bada bhai samjhta hai".. And that was conveyed beautifully by Sahil in that scene. He really does consider himself Anika's elder brother, He want to protect her at all cost. And that video made him feel like he failed at it. Failed at his only job. And so he took all his anger, his hurt, his frustrations out on SSO, even though some of it was aimed at himself. Aryan Prajapati nailed that scene.đ The only other Gul show that I have watched is Geet, and there were no such drama in it, but I'm aware that other Gul shows have done some hate/forced marriages and have continued to torture their female leads for like 100-200 episoded. So I'm glad that they resolved at least this track. And Pinky's reaction seemed real and genuine too. When Anika told Sahil "Log bure nahi hote, halaat bure hote hain" , you could see the guilty expression on her face. She was really heartbroken and disappointed by her son. She never expected that her own flesh and blood can do this to someone. She never thought that he could actually fall this low. And than she acknowledged how she has treated Anika, when it's her own son who was at fault. I'm so glad she was the one who brought up his obsession with "Naam, Khoon, Khandan" (BTW Hats off, Nikita Anandđđ). I'm sure we will get to hear about this more from Rudra and Omkara in the next episode because all we got from them today were hurt and disappointed expressions. And God, I'm sure even those expression would have been hurting Shivaay like bullet wounds. I want a little bit of redemption from Pinky too, for treating Anika the way she did. And then I want them to have the same bond they did before all this drama started. Maybe have an even more closer relationship.
Tej is a very ruthless person and I'm sure he has seen Shivaay some real shady shit in the bussiness world but today even he was shocked to see this side of Shivaay. His expression said "Damn son, I knew you could be a cold hearted bas***d, but I didn't know you could be this big of a cold hearted bas***d."đ Btw are we going to get some dialogues from Tej, Jhanvi and Shakti now? Because they have been standing like statues the past few episodes..!!đ
And I am so glad to see Anika in the sherni mode. And really glad that the show isn't making their fights cutesy and lovey-dovey. Anika ne kya sahi javaab diye hain aaj SSO ko. And you can see that The Great Wall of Shivaay Singh Oberoi has started to break. Everything is out of control and we can see it in his actions. He wants to retain a little bit of control, but it seems like everything just keeps going against him. iI am so ready for a guilt ridden Shivaay.đ Bring it onđđź.
And I feel like Anika lied to Om-Ru because she didn't want to hurt them. It wasn't about Shivaay. It was about Om-Ru. And I applaud her for it.đ She made a very mature choice. Baki to she will deal with Shivaay on her own. "Agar mere Bhabhi ko chot pohochane ki koshish ki na, to by god ki kasam itna raita failaungi na, ki samette samette sari tadi khatam ho jaegi" YES. YESSS... I was literally screaming at my television during this scene (I was actually screaming throught the episode tbhđ) and my parents were looking at me like "bache-kuche pech bhi dhile ho gaye lagta hai..đ
And Om's "Shadi ko abhi 2-3 din hue hain aur abhi se hi pati-patni ek dusre ki galtiyaan chupa rahe hain" and then he just grabbed Shivaay by his arm and khich k le gaya usko.. I loved it. I LOVED IT...đ
YESSS.. GIVE ME MORE GUL KHAN. GIVE ME MORE...
