Are convinced or happy or able to connect with Ishwari's happiness??

From last few episodes, its clear that CVs are trying to tone down Ishwari's actions.

But,

Her each and every dialogue reminds me of her insecurity and selfish thoughts.(eventhough they shown her genuinely happy)

1. Her happiness on good news - reminds me the convo of Ish and GKB, where GKB's filled Ish's ear with the idea that if Sona have kid then her concentration will be more on kid rather than Dev.

2. When Sona thanked her for sharing Dev - Its true that Ish with or without her wish shared Dev with Sona, but somewhat felt that Ish doesn't deserve that thanks from Sona at this moment(as still she is not out of her insecurity towards Dev).

3. Her sweetness and pamper to Sona - She is shown genuinely happy and caring about Sona, but i am not able to take her over sweetness to Sona suddenly(w.r.to post marriage).

So, overall i am not able to connect with Ishwari's happiness due to her portrayal in past episodes.(felt like still CVs need to work on Ish's character to shown her as balanced)

What about you guys??

Ishwari is happy because she thinks Sona is pregnant with Dev's child...all the love and affection is because of that not because she likes Sona or She has accepted her. This is my pov abt her present happiness.

Ishu doesn't have any problems with Sona. On the contrary she likes Sona as a person. But she have difficulty in accepting Dev's wife. But this same wife is now showered all her love and affection because she is now carrying a part of Dev. Or I will say that Sona is the medium through which Ishu will be able to see Dev's childhood again which is something she cherishes. So this excitement.The equation is very much the same between them. Even GKB was whole heartedly enjoying the news.

@Bold: Yes, that's the problem right?? If Ish atleast tries a little to accept Sona, then all these happiness makes sense, but here as you told the equation between them remains same. So all this happiness of her is just a selfish act right?? means she is looking from her own POV right?

And, if Sona is a medium through which she can see Dev's childhood again, means then in future if she come to know about Sona's health condition, will be she be ok with surrogate mother concept?? As here also the 3rd person is a medium for carrying Dev's child.

But, I think no, as she is very much towards culture and tradition she might suggest for Dev's re-marriage. So, one day or other Ish will be talking about re-marriage to Dev.

To understand Ishu we have to think like her or more correctly the generation and upbringing with strict patriarchal views. She cannot perceive herself wrong when her believes are so deep rooted. For her Sona and Dev's love is selfish. She is not accepting Sona whole heartedly because she thinks she lost Dev to this selfish love. The trust issue on Dev with regard to money also comes from this.

But Dev's baby is a completely different factor. She is willing to overlook Sona's delinquencies because she is getting a part of Dev in return. It is selfish of course but Ishu doesn't think like that. She herself told Dev that she will take care of Sona like royalty once she becomes pregnant. She thinks it is her right. She expects them to give her grand children. What else is there for her to look forward to now since all her kids have flown out of the nest. She needs to feel needed. She wants to have a say in their life. For her it is that simple. But how it manifests is a totally different story.😉
