Hey guys...I m new to the forum and recently started seeing the show. I really liked the couple and so decided to write a one shot. To all the experienced writers and audience of the zkm group..do comment on this novice's work.

"You smell nice", Mahek chirped sniffing him.
" Do I?" shaurya asked raising his brows.
" Yup, just like chocolate" she replied as she stood on his toes and sniffed into his neck.
Shaurya shuddered as her warm breath fanned his neck.
1 HOUR EARLIER:
Mehak was busy making her best dish in the kitchen with other chefs to present before Mr. Rajneesh Mehra.
He is a billionaire and has global business of import and export. His only daughter is getting married and so he is looking for the best restaurant out there to supply food in her marriage. And thus all the restaurants are trying their best to win this catering contract.
' If we win, he will be so happy' she thought and smiled.
10 minutes later all chefs of Shaurya Khanna came with their signature dishes and presented before Mr. Mehra.
Shaurya was restless and was standing by Mehak's side who was waiting for her turn to present her dish.
She heard some mumbling and turned to the side in confusion only to find Shaurya mumbling something while his eyes were closed.
' Cmon...please... We have to win this'
Mehak smiled and then looked towards his hand where he has crossed his fingers.
' oh shaurya' she thought as she slowly and swiftly grabbed his right hand.
His eyes flew open as he felt a wave of current rack his nervous system. He looked at his hand and then to his side to find her smiling assuringly.
He relaxed and let his fingers intermingle with hers. He looked at her only to see her turn away with slight tinge of red on her ears.
He smiled.
" Your turn Mehar" he slowly whispered into her ears leaning down.
She suddenly turned towards him and found his face mm away from hers, and looked down.
" I believe in you" he said letting her hand go.
She looked up to see him smiling and smiled.
" I will win this for you" she replied and stepped forward with her dish.
Rajeev smiled at Shaurya who was left flabbergasted by her last line.
" I will win this for you" Rajeev mimicked in shaurya's ears and snickered.
Shaurya squinted his eyes at him to show his anger but failed as his red ears gave his embarrassment away.
" Amazing", Rajneesh exclaimed tasting mehek's dish.
Shaurya smiled at her praise as Mr. Rajneesh stood up and took both of mehek's hands in his and kissed them.
" You have magic in your hands, pretty lady" he complimented.
Mehak blushed but Shaurya fumed.
' I forgot that he is a flirt'.
Rajneesh continued to hold her hand but Shaurya came in between and taking his right hand in his left for handshake spoke " I am sure that your wife will be really pleased to know that you liked our only female chef's dish so much that you complimented her by kissing her hands".
Rajeev tried to control his laughter.
The shri shri 108 Shaurya Khanna was jealous.
Rajneesh looked at Shaurya's face and smiled at him.
"Don't worry, she won't mind as I just KISSED HER HANDS"
Mehak stood confused as she saw rajneesh smile at Shaurya in a weird way and Shaurya glare at him.
" Sir..did we get the contract" she asked interrupting their staring contest.
" Indeed DEAR, all thanks to you, the PRETTIEST YOUNG CHEF EVER" rajneesh complimented looking at Shaurya who was trying hard not to step forward and strangle him.
Rajneesh was really enjoying teasing Shaurya and was trying hard to survive his killer looks.
' Another compliment and Shaurya will definitely dig my grave here' he thought and chuckled.
Rajneesh stepped forward and leaned down giving a slight Peck on mehek's right cheek.
Mahek blushed different sorts of red and shaurya's face displayed total red of anger.
Mahek was blushing not because she was by any means interested in geezer but because he was a sweet guy was showing sweet gestures.
Rajneesh was very much in love with his own wife and had no ill will towards mehek but he was enjoying seeing Romeo Khanna seethe in anger.
' Such insecurity from an oldie like me' he thought and kept his hand on mehek's head.
Here Rajeev was already planning funeral of Mr. Rajneesh.
' He chose his girl to flirt with...wrong move' Rajeev deadpanned seeing Shaurya crack his knuckles.
" You are like my daughter and I wish from the bottom of my heart that you get all you want in your life" Rajneesh blessed mehek who only smiled and looked in Shaurya's direction.
" Next time I will take you on a date...Agar zinda raha toh" Rajneesh chuckled as he stepped towards Shaurya.
He kept his hand around shaurya's shoulders and whispered " Don't worry, she is all YOURS but be quick to make your move or I WILL DO IT".
Shaurya was about to retort but rajneesh swiftly moved away from him and said " Meet you in marriage mehek " and waved a bye at her, meaningfully.
She waved back and smiled.
" I never knew you were into old men" Shaurya commented seeing her smile at HIM. But inside he was burning in jealousy.
She was about to retort the usual what-the-hell but paused when she saw his constipated expressions.
" I can't help it, he was so sweet" she replied trying to control her laughter and ran away.
Shaurya has raised his finger to retort but fisted them seeing her run towards kitchen.
All chefs were celebrating with Mehek and were drinking orange juice whereas Shaurya was in his cabin remembering rajneesh's words.
' DON'T WORRY SHE IS ALL YOURS BUT BE QUICK TO MAKE YOUR MOVE OR I WILL DO IT'
" Shaurya..." Rajeev shouted entering his cabin.
" what?" he replied obviously annoyed.
" vo mehek..vo..." Rajeev stammered as Shaurya got up and speedily moved towards kitchen.
" talli ho gayi hai" Rajeev completed smiling evilly as he remembered how he mixed desi daaroo in her orange juice.
" Aaj toh izhaar ho hi jaaye" he smiled.

" mehek sambhal khud ko" Raj shouted trying to catch the talli mehek who was running from here to there.
" NAHI...sadu Kumar ko bulao...vrna main...main roungi" she replied as her eyes started to tear.
" Mehek" came a loud voice across kitchen as a shiver went down her spine.
" sadu Kumar" she shouted as she jumped onto him like a kid got his candy.
He tried to get his balance and leaned himself on kitchen slab to survive her surprise attack.
His one hand unconsciously circled her waist as he stared daggers at the snickering chefs and shooed them away.
He sighed when they left but suddenly shuddered when he felt something soft graze his neck.
And finally the gravity of the current situation dawned oh him in full force.
Mehek sharma was in his arms while her face was buried in his neck.
' oh shit' he swiftly removed his hand from her waist and forced her to get down.
" hey what happened..all OK" he asked concerned seeing her sob.
" every..everyone was saying I am drunk...catch me..catch me...I am not drunk... am I?" She asked sweetly staring into his eyes.
And his heart gave a really loud thump as his face reddened at her cute gesture.
' She is drunk...oh god'
" of course not mehek...Cmon..let me get you home" he offered.
"No...I d.o.n.t...w..a..nn..a..goo" she replied pouting.
" Don't argue with me" he chided as he held her hand and started pulling her.
But she with the other hand held the tap of the sink and shouted " no..no..no..no"
And thus tug of war started but Shaurya was definitely stronger and finally mehek's hand came off the tap but since he was applying too much force she ended up colliding into his chest.
Their eyes met. Shaurya was lost. He was losing his control.
Mehek rubbed her forehead as she poked at his chest.
" kya hai yahan par...patthar hain kya" she asked cutely looking up into his eyes.
He pulled her closer as he took her other hand into his and intermingled their fingers. Slowly he leaned towards her face and stopped just an mm away.
She gasped. She was drunk but that doesn't hinder her awareness of him. She was aware of his presence...his proximity.
" Shaurya..." she called out closing her eyes as her lips tingled under his sharp gaze.
He pulled her even more closer as she let out a low moan at the intimate contact.
" You will be the death of me" he whispered as he picked her up and started walking out.
" I don't wanna go home...no..no" she started again while kicking her legs in the air.
But Shaurya was trying hard to calm down his senses. He could feel it. His body was reacting really badly. He was turned on courtesy of the sweet disaster in his arms.
Finally he dropped her in his car and was trying to make her wear the seat belt but her constant movement was not helping it.
" Not now mehek please" he pleaded in a husky voice as she stopped seeing the intensity of his eyes.
He was frustrated...frustrated for feeling that way towards her...frustrated for not being able to just take her in his arms and love her...frustrated for not being able to accept his feelings for her.
The entire ride passed in silence as a tipsy mehek kept sneaking glances at Shaurya and blushing by herself.
The car stopped and she looked out.
" Shaurya"
" Not now mehek"
" But this.."
" not now"
He opened the door and has steeped out only to curse himself.
Mehek laughed seeing his face and quickly ran inside.
" wait mehek" he shouted running after her into HIS HOUSE .
