Naira was consumed with guilt in yesterday's episode. The man who she loved, who she believed was guilty of her mother's death was innocent. The only reason he had accepted Naira's accusations was because he loved her so much.
Kartik has literally given up. The one person whose trust and belief he needed let him down. He has decided to accept a guilty plea simply because Naira believes he is. No one else matters, not even his parents.
I felt bad for Manish Goenka yesterday. He loves his son so much yet gets nothing but dislike in return. Underneath that hard exterior is a soft heart that beats for his son. It was so heartwarming to see the way he put Kartik's head on his lap and gently caressed it. But he dislikes Naira and blames her for everything that's happening to Kartik. This is going to play a role in the future.
Suvarna has a heart of gold. It was ironic when Naira told her that she is a mother and she could get through to Kartik. Unfortunately Kartik hates his mum as much as he hates his dad and would never listen to her. It seems to me that Suvarna and Nair are going to share a good bonding and Naira will be the catalyst that will help Kartik bond with his parents again.
Gayu is so sweet. She always has the right words to say to everyone and she is so supportive of Naira who needs that right now.
Naira was completely heartbroken and devastated when she realises that she accused Kartik wrongly. With the help of Kartik's friends, she got clues that pointed to Kartik's innocence. She's not going to stop until she sees him freed.
In the pre-cap, Naira tells Kartik that she won't give up until she proves his innocence. But Kartik just seems to have given up.
