Coming to Bani... I must come from the wrong side of the tracks as for me her language is pretty normal on a day to day basis. Using F B and S words feels quite "normal" to me so can't cast her as abnormal for that.As for punching stuff, I believe that if you are a physical person, which she seems to be, it makes sense to hit items rather than people. I do not condone violence or breaking things unnecessarily but as it seems that Bani had a valid reason (om said that her mother should die apparently), just be glad that she did not punch that oldie and break all his teeth. As a 'normal' person my reaction would be ensure he cant talk again for atleast a week.Bani is extra emotional though and while I know and respect other in my circle with a similar behaviour patterns, I believe that for people in India being socially acceptable is more important than being honest about your feelings and thoughts. So surely for people based in India I agree thay Bani can appear to be 'not normal'Maybe take a global viewpoint in this situation...
