TV stars welcome 2008

Here's how some of our telly stars will bring in the New Year.

Manish Naggdev

"New Year is like a complete fun package. We officially do have non-working days during X-mas and New Years. I am going to Goa with a group of friends this year. The place is very happening every year but since sometime I am trying to be there at least every alternate year. I just love that place as much as I dislike crammed five-star parties in Mumbai. My New Year resolution is being diplomatic and blunt."

Amit Varma

"I'll surely have some plans this New Year but as of now it's quite undecided as I have all my friends heading for Goa but somehow I am stuck juggling in between my shoots. I'll either be parting with my other friends in Mumbai or will be heading for Lonavala where I might just end up going for house-parties which according to me is quite happening."

Amrapali Gupta

"I plan to go out for a cruise party with my friends and I am quite excited, as my sister will be with me this year. I remember being in Jaipur a couple of years back and I had a blast as we guys had arranged for a party where we had Rajasthani artists performing. It was quite unusual but for me was one of the best New Years as I was with my loved ones. My New Year resolution is to curb down on my anger."

Karan Mehra

"New Year for sure is going to be with family as I am going to be visiting my hometown this 31st. I'll be with family, spending some quality time with them and then I'll be heading for a party with friends. New Year for me is incomplete without being with loved ones and especially family."

Sid Makkar

"Last New Year I was in London so this time around I intend to bring in the New Year in Mumbai itself. We are planning to catch up at a friend's place and there are going to be quite a few pals around. It's surely going to be a fun night out with my wife Shalini in town. I just hope to do better work in the coming year and stay busy."

Chhavi Mittal

"I will be going to Lonavala to a pal's house to bring in the New Year. We'll be having some real fun by indulging in mouth-watering cuisine and dancing till the wee hours of the morning. My New Year resolution is not to make one."

Amit Tondon

"No parties as I know all my telly friends are in Goa but I just want to spend my time with my family. I want to start this new day by visiting Gurudwara and temples and praying to God to give happiness and prosperity to me and my family."
