Gone are those days when movie use to keep a patriotic theme during Republic and Independence day. Now we have movies like Raees promoting gangster like Abdul Latif who was close associate of Dawood.

Do you miss patriotic movie ? Pls. no personal attack. 😉

i think there must be time but they stopped making such movie since underworld started funding movie.

Movies like Air Lift and Baby were not released on 15th August or 26th Jan. Now there's nothing specific to releasing only patriotic movies on these days.

There was a time when the underworld funded Bollywood films. No surprise they would pander to them.

I don't know if it is the same or production houses fund films now and they get their money from box office, selling of rights, music sales etc.

I don't need movies to feel patriotic...and if I watch a gangster movie on Independence/ Republic day , it doesn't lessen my love for my country or makes me feel unpatriotic.
