Here is Why Sonam Lost out to Alia @ SS Awards

Alia Bhatt walked away with the Best Actress trophy at Sunday night's Star Screen Awards, which kickstarted the Bollywood awards season. Quite a few eyebrows were raised since Sonam Kapoor was an equally, if not more, deserving contender for the honour.

A bitchy starlet from Lokhandwala tells us Alia was always the favourite with the eight-member jury, half of who owe loyalty to the actress' mentor, Karan Johar. The four panelists, we are told, were Urmila Matondkar (one of KJo's besties), Subhash Ghai (who's remaking 'Ram Lakhan' with the director's banner, Dharma Productions), Karan Malhotra (who helmed Johar's 'Agneepath') and Raveena Tandon (wife of KJo's childhood buddy, Anil Thadani, who is the distributor for Dharma projects).


Now, that's something worth pondering over. Also, Deepika Padukone winning the Style Icon award came as a surprise to many, especially since she walked into the event in an unsightly black gown. Wonder why Sonam was ignored even in this category.

Why doesn't Sonam concentrate on taking on projects which would make sure she wins the awards hands down in the coming years..?

Sonam's pr also took a dig at DP in this article. DP's dress was ugly but it's not like Sonam walked in a better dress her's was ugly too

Sonam can only cry and publish article

So many people are robbed off awards and no one bats an eyelid. But when a starkid is robbed off an award which is possibly her only chance in this lifetime all hell breaks lose and there is so much crying and whining. So far all these Bolly starkids were having a good time robbing off other people. Now its fun to see them fighting among themselves since no one else is left to rob apart from themselves.

Then they didn't awarded Ranbir and Anushka?
