Kangana Ranauts Simran release date announced!

Mumbai: Hansal Mehta's family drama Simran' starring 3-time National Award winner Kangana Ranaut is all set for a September 15 release next year.

In order to play the role of Praful Patel, a30-year-old divorcee, Kangana reportedly used to cut off from the world for hours to get into the skin of this emotionally-demanding' character.

"#Simran, starring #KanganaRanaut, to release on 15th Sept 2017. Directed by @mehtahansal. Produced by #BhushanKumar and Shailesh R Singh.," reads TSeries's official Twitter handle.

Ranaut will soon be seen in Vishal Bharadwaj's period drama Rangoon' alongside Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.

This project really looks interesting & exciting to me. I loved Hansal Mehta's Aligarh & his other works as well. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie. 😛

Two big movies confirmed. 👏 👏 👏

Now, I think if she starts a movie early next year... perhaps that can make it towards an end of year release too. 😉 It has to be that Ritesh Batra film.

RLB will take longer to film and come only in 2018.

Jan / Feb - Rangoon promotions / release

Mar - Prep for RLB

Mar - RLB filming or Ritesh Batra's next

We will know of her calendar more during the promotions. Media will ask her about upcoming projects. She has a full year ahead of filming. 😆
