Hey Everyone,
I have recently seen the post that Sana Sheikh- Lead of Gustakh Dil and Krishnadasi- I must say I enjoyed her characterisation in both shows..
I know some people may not appreciate her against Om mainly because they perceive her to be unmatchable, I personally have no qualms against her as the FL
BUT...
I have also seen the unwarranted desire for Om's FL to be chirpy-to be bubbly-full of life, However I want to ask, how would that make her different from Sumo or Anika, who are both have these traits to a certain extent. I think a dark lead opposite Om would be so much more adequate mainly because I want her to question his beliefs- To be the living juxtaposition when adjoined with Om- Although I wouldn't mind greatly if she happened to be the happy go lucky girl-next door types, but do you not think she should be a character created from Om's fears and his greatest revulsion.
1.She should be a liar-to question Om's fixation upon honesty- that sometimes deception and falsity is required in life and we cannot all run upon the truth
2.She should question his belief in drugs- now here I am hoping that she is 'Chutki' so that we witness her troublesome life which she has gotten over
3.Show him that he in fact is an Oberoi, despite his wish to not be one, he has flourished because of his name-the self-made status is actually a gift by his father-the fact he had the liberty to go to London and study Art could not have been possible if he was poor
4.Show him that he is merely in a position of being in a box and looking out-he had shelter, he had brothers... and that makes him almost a hypocrite to say that he understands the the troubles of the normal people
5. I WANT HER TO BE LIKE SHIVAAY- absolutely ruthless, vengeful, to unite with her sister and take revenge from the Oberoi's- I want her and Anika to have come from a khandaan of Rajputs and Royalty- to be her sisters guide- we would see such a phenomenal power house
6.I want her to change Om and Om to change her- for love to flourish in a way that it heals both their wounds
SO, this is what I want from Om's FL, a slightly darker character to equalise the equations- AniRU, OmYa- and the Shiv'whatever her name happens to be'- It will add dimension to the current story and it will be more of a fresh breath of air- because we already have RumYa for comic relief
