Anything is possible. They can show that the shadowed man(maybe Vikram) hit Rocky and he turned into the killer. He came at the end of the massacre anyway. Then he was hit again to turn into Rocky to call Shivangi out of her room. Then when it was done, he was hit again so he could become the killer again.
