You are so right. The way vitharv protect each other is so heart warming. i had no clue how could Vv do that. like even the doctors run away from the warden guy and Vv goes and holds his hand. Later she shows knife to them.. Did she not think of the consequence or she didnt care. Its this protective instinct that makes them do anything.
